Sadly I think the Ratio of Announced Vs. Released of third party is currently something like 1:15. which is a Shame, I wanted Menace like no ones business, and we know DJW did too.

I was done until I saw that others felt the need to bring me back into it by calling me names and stooping to new lows even for TFW2005 members. I stand by my signature. This has got to be the most rabid and immature/unfriendly fandom I have ever come across, makes me almost not want to be a TF fan anymore.

I never once have called someone a 'jerk' or personally attacked someone. All I did was voice my opinion on this topic that happened to be different then most people and everyone and their brother felt the need to attack me for having that opinion.

I took years off from visiting this site and was hoping in that time it had changed to the point that you could actually share dissenting opinions without being attacked for them. Unfortunately I was wrong.

I've had exposure to dozens of fandoms in the last decade and the Transformers fandom is the ONLY one that actually attacks its own members. Its sad really

 

I think it's really cool to hear about how Devastator would have been done in Animated. Them forcing Bulkhead to become part of it would have been an interesting way to keep advancing the story he had with them, and I really wish we could see how that would both go down, and be resolved.

Bumble Prime is cool. I'd love to see what he looks like. I wonder about who would be Magnus at the time. Optimus? Or maybe Optimus would have fallen in that future period, and Rodimus would be Magnus, to fight against Galvatron?

 

I'd love it if DJW showed us how Animated Galvatron looks. Or has he already?

Although I'm not sure how he could look more imposing than Megs already is.

My last vacations I watch Animated on Cartoon Network Brasil.

Only problem: stupid network managers stop the show few episodes before the end. Two episodes in weekdays for two or three weeks... one more week and I would watch the finale in portuguese with my wife.

I want TFA back on TV, too. Or in Netflix... or DVD box release with all three seasions...

Nice to catch up with DJW again, however breifly. Sounds like some good ideas, I will always lament the passing of Animated, it will always hold a special place in my TF collection and memories.
SG could have been awesome, and a flash forward episode showing a future Bumble-Prime would have been great (as it's just a title, it's not like he got given the matrix or something), especially if they'd used that as the starting point for maturing Bumblebee, after he's seen what he could become if he stopped dicking around. The show saw some amazing character growth especially with Prime and Prowl, would have been nice to have seen the same for 'Bee.

It was the best superhero show which featured Transformers I've ever seen.

 

There's nothing to stop Hasbro bring back animated as an alternative transformers if they really wanted to, they already have rescue bots for really young kids and tfp for older kids, animated could bridge the gap between them theoretically allowing hasbro to hold onto new audiences throughout their formative years.  

 

I would love to see how that played out. I imagine it would have been a lot of "Aw, come on guys!" from Bulkhead as he's cajoled into destroying things. Poor Bulky, he was so awesome yet so easy to manipulate. I think he just didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings.
