I wanna believe that, but they even look smaller in the pics. That is why I asked in the 1st place. I didn't even see the WFC Megatron pic.

Oh man, all you WFC/FOC fans who bought the 1st line are gonna be pissed next month......

^ I'll make sure to listen for you playing the world's smallest violin when I get my Shockwave.

Or NOT, because unlike many of you I don't obsess unhealthily over 1/4 inch or 1/2 an ounce of plastic. Although strangely enough I'm the only one who's even openly considered breaking out a ruler and a scale and being systemic about the whole thing.

Frankly he still looks like he could beat the crap out of half of the 2006 Deluxes that we are collectively still obsessed with.

This above is funny to read. It sounds like you are having an argument w/ yourself. :)

No, I won't care when they are released now. I did. I'm sure they will be warming the shelves with the rest of the Prime scouts er...I mean deluxes.

BTW, not that I would buy one, but has anyone seen the current markup for the DOTM stuff? I swong by Target on my way home and they have raised the prices of the ACTUAL deluxes to $16!! And the voyagers are $25!! Let the fleecing begin, right Hasbro?

It's like every single post you complain about something.

And after the post where you implied you would waste gas simply to go buy toys, go home to rip open the packages, and then drive BACK to the store to return them "in disgust", I think you could spare some gas money for toys if they mean that much to you.

Well, if these end up being the prices, then many of the people freaking out should effectively be silenced because that comes down to 16 bucks a figure for the Bruticus parts, and in the case of Cliffjumper about a dollar more than the regular FE deluxes retail for in Canada.

Granted, there's always shipping to be factored in, but for people in the US it's probably not much more (if not much less) than driving around throughout a 6 month span to find all of these guys or paying shipping+markup online, so yeah. Plus, they also come with packaging extras as well that collectors like us (by us I mean collectors in general, not specifically myself & Thundershot in case he's not someone who'd care hah), so eh.

Plus, I'm willing to be that certain people out there won't care about the entire Bruticus set & that they'd be willing to part shit out to others or group buy, so that's always an option if you're mainly just looking for one or two.

I'd love to see a recycling campaign like this hahahaha.

Gas money? I drive past a Walmart, Target, and a Meijer on the way to work. No big deal to me. And I would not return them "in disgust". I wil have a big shit eating grin on my face. Until I feel satisfied that I have done enough damage to their bottom line. I would not go there religiously like some nut, just here and there. Whenever I need something else. Then return it the next time I go for something else. Like I aint doing something some of ou haven't done before. But, at least I'm not stealing parts and such. I am returning it just as I bought it. Just opened. I won't even cut the bands.

And the best part is I am not doing anything amoral nor illegal, because it is the policy of these big box stores to return these particular items for no other reason than I am not happy. If Hasbro don't like that, they need to renegotiate their contracts with thier distributors.

Screw me, Hasbro? No, screw you.

Yes this totally sounds completely rational and not at all like what a crazy person would do.

Your failure to understand just how retail works amuses me. Hasbro doesn't make money directly from the figure you buy at the checkout, they make it directly from the retailer buying the figure, who then resells it at a profit by taking your money. Returning the item only affects the retailer, not Hasbro.

And one single person is not going to damage their bottom line. Not when you're supposedly waging a one-man campaign against a retail chain by simply attacking one store and thinking you're hurting Hasbro by returning perfectly good toys. And in some cases, returns that are in good enough condition just end up back on the shelf in resealed packaging to be sold again, which defeats your entire "quest of vengeance" or whatever.

Oh, wow, you're accusing us ALL of being toy swappers? That's low, man, real low.

No, you're abusing a customer satisfaction system that actually has nothing to do with Hasbro outside of returning defective product.

And the best (worst) thing is that his "toy rebel fight the powah" shenanigans won't even matter to the retailer itself. Heck, like Walmart is going to care. He'll just really, really annoy some poor underpaid employees "hey guys guess what there's that toy returning maniac again"

    vvv You're right. Edited.

I wish they would do something like this. My Walmart has a crap-load of DOTM Mudflaps, Cyberfire Bees, and Laserbeaks, and even reduced to $7.50 you can tell they're not going anywhere.

Dang, that sucks. I'm probably the only person in the world still in the market for a cheap DOTM Laserbeak. He's the only movie deployable minion I'm missing from the animal line up and my plans to secure a HA Soundwave failed miserably.

They're Fall of Cybertron Insecticons. They're not really a classics-style stand-in, but really cool nonetheless.

You can check Kickback's pictures in the gallery.
