I'm glad where not using the Gold Vortex. Honestly that thing was ugly.

I'l be fine with show accurate or Bruit-Aid.

Why do you like them when they're not accurate in any way, shape, or form?

Just because they aren't the most accurate toys doesn't mean that they aren't any good.

As was I. Besides Brawl (who still looks good, though), I think the colors are great.

Yes, but he's missing a ton of purple glowing parts.

Actually Gold is uglier....Plus I grew up with the UT so a Bruticus Maximus homage is nice.

Who else thinks Jazz's gun looks more like a grappler than a gun?

IIRC, his in-game gimmick is a grappling thing of sorts, so that's probly on purpose.

Hmmm. I really don't like those colors for Bruticus. The Game Informer colors were leagues better, IMO. I'm also hesitant on that FoC Prime. That blue is just jarring next to the darker red. Hopefully the blue is toned down a bit for retail figures. Jazz and Shockwave look great and are must-buys for me. Don't care for the Prime stuff, outside of the Vehicon and Knockout, which I'm currently hunting for anyway. All in all, it looks like a pretty "meh" rest of the year for Transformers if only a few figures interest me so far. Hopefully some new stuff is revealed for the end of the year.

Do it's confirmed from the Hasbro panel just now. The Energon colored Bruticus is for 2012 fall individual release. The G1 colors are a SDCC 2013 box set.

They should be 2012, not 2013.

I like the packaging. It's the kind the I'm gonna spot that stick out from the others in the toy aisle when I stumble upon them.

Prime is a maybe (too many OP's in my collection) Shockwave is bought on sight. Jazz has a lot of bright blue in his colore scheme and that puts him into the maybe catergory. The Bruticus wave is a wash with thos colors.

Hasbro's been keeping my paintbrush busy lately. Looks like the tradition's gonna continue.

Am I a bad person for being excited for what WILL be over what's presented? I look at a toy with a bad colorscheme and it doesn't bother me at all. I immediately start planning and plotting what shade to use and where, giving little if any consideration to what actually comes to us in-package.

Either my wife or my wallet is going to kill me by the end of the year. Even still, very excited for what's to come in both TFP and FOC. I'll probably end up getting everything except the R/C and roll-play stuff. Well, maybe the roll-play stuff for my daughter.
