There's a bit of an interlace issue with the MKV. It'd be great if you could upload them de-interlaced. Other than that, no real problems. Working on putting up torrents.

kary...I've noticed that it's very common to have those little hiccups or two during the airing of TFP...seems like my DVR recording will have a burp in most of them, just a provider thing, I'd imagine...I think most folks could live with a burp to get the earlier download but catching the 2nd airing on the HUB isn't a bad thing either, hoping that one will not have the glitch. It's a nice thing you're doing for the members here.  

 

Guys if it helps, I've re-encoded the episode to MPEG-2 format (*.mpg) and re-sized it to the standard HD format of 720p (1280x720).

Everything was flawless, from beginning to end. The glitches were gone, including the unusual frame transitions on certain scenes. I've only did it on the "Crossfire" episode. I will do the same for "Nemesis Prime".

Will tell you more if it also holds for that episode.

 

Nice man, if that's the trick I can do that for the remainder of the eps. I don't mind recoding the ones I posted either.

 

Awesome work kary and great stuff ken. 720p would be an ideal resolution for most folks I think.

I'm downloading Orion Pax Part 1 to see if it works ok. Thanks for hosting it differently the speed is much better! Over 230kbs which is much faster.
I also found the site difficult. Can I recommend putting those pics on the 1st page?

Also I agree 720p would be fine. 1080 is better but not as common and of course a larger file size usually.

Not sure why Nemesis Prime was buggy but I will see if the new one is better. For some reason it only played with sound in VLC but every so often it would lock it up! Funnily Windows Media Center played it fine. So that's worth a try too.

From now on I think I will wait for your HD versions as it really is a LOT better to watch it. Thanks again

1080's great if it stops any encoding errors and if the file size is say under 900mb but in general terms I'm happy with 720P it's detailed enough to look for the little details you miss on Standard Def.

Quick question: have you fixed the problem with your first two uploads? While they are very clean looking, they have issues staying that way, the videos often get distorted 

Still, it is nice to see them in a much higher resolution 

 

I will get around to replacing them. Can't do much right now as Jumbofiles uploading is disabled while they're under maintenance.

 

That would explain why I can't download your vids now (f^_^; )

Have you changed your videos since you first put them up? If so, the problems may be gone if you tweaked them since then--I only saw the ones I downloaded last Saturday and those were the ones with video issues.
