14.99 I think, so two of them would come out to 22.50, or 11.25 each.

...that's like, a dollar cheaper per figure than Walmart's regular price. Hardly a sale, when it basically just brings it down to retail.

But people, especially parents, will buy figures because they think they are getting a huge deal because they only see the phrase "50% off."

I just avoid TRU altogether specifically for the reasons listed: figures are too expensive when not on sale and when they do go on sale, its the same price as Wal-Mart. To me, TRU is always a lose / lose situation.

Yup. TRU has always been a little more expensive, but now it's getting out of hand, imo. Especially on Marvel Legends stuff where the difference is $5.

Even crazier is the difference in Voyagers is a whopping $7!

And we're not even talking about harder to find figures like ML, we're talking the same damn Optimus Prime and Megatron that are at every other retail store worldwide.

For those that have the Manufacturer $5 off coupons for Kre-o Sets, The coupons state that they are only valid for purchases over $20 but I have been using them at both Target and Walmart for the Kre-o sets under $20 as well and they work. The only sets I haven't tried them on yet is the small basic sets but I bet they work for those also. Also, at Target today they had the $26 Bumble Bee set marked down to $18.99. $7 off then with the Manufacturer Coupon, another $5 off makes for an awesome deal! I also used 2 coupons for two sets in one transaction so I don't think there is a limit on how many you can use. Other then the Bumblebee set, Walmart has the best prices for the rest of the sets at least here in Mass. Good luck and hope this helps someone get a great deal! :)

I only buy TFs at TRU when they're exclusive or on mad clearance.

That said, I hope they continue to keep US retail interest in the Masterpiece line alive and well. I'd rather see MP at Wal-Mart though, because I have two of those within 15 minutes of my house.

This is really the opposite of a deal, but I guess it's still relevant. Looks like Target marked up DOTM voyagers to ~$25 and deluxes to $16 for some reason. Prime RID toys are still priced normally. Has anyone else seen this at their store, or is this just perhaps a mistake? Seems very strange that they'd mark them up this much and this late and leave all the current toys the same price.

I looked at the ad and you can't really read what the DVD says, but I think I can see where it might say "2 episodes".

The TRU sale isn't that bad if you still have any of those $4.00 off Hasbro coupons.

The mark up calm before the clearance storm I would guess.

Ha, I just saw that yesterday. I had to take it to a price scanner to see if they were serious. I considered taking a picture of it for the "not cool stuff" thread.

I doubt it, most Targets already put almost all their DOTM stuff on clearance. Deluxe, legion and voyagers are pretty much all that are left. The same store I just saw these mark-ups in had HA Leadfoot(s) and all the Cyberverse box sets (exclusive ones and the Ark) on clearance a few weeks ago. All that's left are three deluxes and a single voyager, so I have no idea why they even bothered to put new price tags on the shelves.

You're both right. It's the mark up before these remaining DPCI numbers for the DOTM line are clearanced. Probably to add more Avengers and GI Joe movie stuff and the general summer reset.

They are marked up in my area. Deluxes to $15.85 however Voyagers were marked down to $15.89

My guess is they go on Clearance for $7.80 as Walmart's in my area have already marked down all Movie Deluxes to $7.27.
