Why would it be a joke?

 

Well.. actually I guess in this case It is not as important as the last Nemederp Prime mess. But still, such a fail name and now we are doomed to have it on what might be a toy again..   

 

Look at it this way. Megs intially wanted Orion Pax to be in his ranks. Nemesis is EXACTLY what was ordered. Did anything ever think about that?

You guys all have it wrong. It's that orange dragon bot from Transformers Cybertron.  

 

Man, this episode is gonna be   -tacular. Giant truck chases, the military, lots of explosions.

 

I doubt anyone expects 'Nemesis' to survive past this episode...

Probably because he thinks Nemesis Prime is stupid for some reason.

 

Well I did actually say that a few posts up yes, and have in the past, and will stick to it till I die. It is one of the top 10 most lazy and unimaginative names in the whole franchise.   What the hell was wrong with Chimera?

That being said, I am sure the episode will be fantastic and totally look forward to it! On another note, I am guessing that it is being called "filler" here because it is not a two or three parter?

but he doesn't need to survive the actual ep. The fact that he was built in the first place is enough imo. It'll be like 'Stronger, Faster', when Knockout picks up the remains of the Synthetic Energon. If they kill of Nemesis Prime this ep, you can be sure his remains will be recovered...or MECH was viewing things THROUGH him, therefore perfecting ideas on how to battle more TFs, or dare I say it, we get something like last week and it reveals Mech has multiple bodies ready/in construction, ready to use the remains of Nemesis.

Point: Nemesis being 'defeated' in this episode won't write him out as a side plot unless all of Mech goes down too. Mech needs to get their hands on the Spark Extractor =3 then they can troll with an army

WOW!!!!  Either the animators have followed a course in Bayhem, or Michael himself did the photography work for this episode... Bayhem indeed. Perhaps this is also a way to say thanks to Michael?? Eitherway... it ROCKS!!

 

For those decrying Nemesis Prime looking like... well... Prime. Personally I am so g-damn glad they didn't decide to go inverted colors, like some kind of weird comic book alternate universe version of Prime. After all this character is (I assume) supposed to pass for Prime, so why make him look like anything other than this character? Wouldn't he be too easy to spot as a fake otherwise?

That being said, I am glad they decided to dirty him up a bit, change the color of his lazers, etc., to make him look different without it being obvious.

I think it's actually meant to say.. "It is Optimus Time!!" Can you smell what Optimus is cookin??

I didn't expect Mr. Cullen to be voicing Nemesis Prime. This should be good.

 

Because he's homaging a previous character and Chimera is HARDLY an original name it's self.

Besides nobody even knows if he will be called Nemesis Prime in the show it might just be an episode title.

 

Well as it turns out staying too spoiler free can lead to some confusion, feet in mouths, and the whole thing maybe a very mute point  

:returns to what he was doing before:

 

The only way i see him surviving is if;
Nemesis is destroyed but Mech recovers the T-cog. Then Silas musses to himself that Nemesis was only phase 1 and that the data they recovered from the battle will help with phase 2. This leaves it open for project Chimera to continue with either Nemesis Prime returning as an upgraded form or for Mech to introduce a new Transformer. (I`ld like to see Mech make a carbon copy of Megatron which defects and battles Megatron for leadership)

 

Well thats dissapointing that it isnt an actual black Prime. Looks like we wont have a toy after all.
