I fangirlsmed...

 

A bit disappointing when you're expecting new gameplay. That didn't even look like old gameplay. Just cutscenes.

however, there are some interesting things that I noticed that I shall post as I am not going to read every post that came before mine.

0:32 - Optimus has yellow on his gun.
0:35 - The Decepticons have their own version of the four legged cannon Vortex fought.
- Behind the the pointy building with statues in front, there is a giant, weird ship.
0:38 - The Ark can be seen, in the background, at the top of your left.
- There is a giant red vehicle. There is also a purple one with a cannon on the bridge behind it.
0:40 - Giant golden Autobot ship.
0:44 - Megatron arrives at where a giant, golden statue or Starscream is being built.
0:45 - Megatron in new FOC body.
0:58 - FOC Megatron VS FOC Optimus Prime.
1:09 - Optimus using electrical powers on machines.
1:10- WFC (not FOC) Megatron VS FOC Optimus Prime.

 

I teared up a little...

 

8/28 is far sooner then I was expecting. Neato. Plus the trailer was quite awesome, but it should be.

CAN'T WAIT !!!   !!! this game looks AWESOME !!! just recently got an x box 360 so i've upgraded since WFC that i played on wii. this is gonna be SO COOL !!!   !!!

 

Looks awesome. The trailer reminded me a lot of DOTM's in its pacing and musical cues.

 

NICE.

 

The animation looks nothing like the game plays we seen. Maybe this is promotional animation.

 

Or cutscenes?

 

Wish there had been a little more gameplay, in that "gameplay" trailer.

 

Its called a gameplay trailer cuz that was all stuff like in-game cutscenes (which run in realtime in the game engine. No pre rendered junk)

Looks awesome to me! And august! Earlier than I was expecting!

 

I'm thuper excited! Soundtrack in the trailer sounds like something like a Skrillex mix. Getting this game day 1.

I was also underwhelmed. The 1 second cuts did not allow us to see much so it hasn't really done anything to increased my excitement on the game, on the contrary, it is now a little down because I was looking forward to a "Gameplay Trailer" which this is not. It wasn't even a good 'story' trailer.

I reckon that it was a bad attempt at mimicking a Bay trailer. To give credit where it's due, the trailers for all Bayformer movies were very good and helped a lot to increase the hype while this 'gameplay' trailer was actually very underwhelming.

 

What pisses me of is that that fight with Megatron looks intense yet it's confirmed that we have the previous melee system. That's of course unless we can do combos like Mirage. This is such a piss-take. Why can't we have a good melee system - I mean these bots can fight hand-to-hand right? There have been fights without guns.

 

Cool! Can't wait to get this game

 

I'd like to point out something absolutely nobody has picked up on....

The fight with Optimus and Megatron...they are both using swords...

But...didn't Optimus have an axe in the first game?
