Finished Stand Alone Complex, I really enjoyed it. Might try out some of the other Ghost in the shell stuff once I've finished up Strike Witches.

Le Portrait de Petite Cossette; i thought it looked interesting, but it turned out to be nothing more then a very mind warping confusing mess. i only got about 20 minutes into it before i gave up. after all, NOTHING happened in 20 minutes.

Vampire Knight; started watching this again. i only watched one volume last time, it didn't really interest me that much then, but a second watch of the same volume, *maybe 4 years later? and i am much more interested in it now. the story is really interesting. but is really what makes fun is the characters. it does a really nice job of developing them, even the smaller roles as well.

i'm not usually a big fan of vampires, especially anime vampires. other then vampire hunter d, or vampire princess Miyu. because most of them just follow the cliches, and do not end up really doing anything new. OR they turn out to be some cheesy romance story.

this story is much more complex, to the point where the "vampires" could be anything, even aliens, and it'd still be about the same thing.

    so far it's highly recommended.

I have gotten through the 1st OVA and all 3 Patlabor movies. Loved the OVA and the 1st movie, but I don't see how they can even call the 2nd and 3rd movies Patlabor. You barely see any of the core cast and there is no Labor action until the very end of the movies. They were just boring police procedural type stories with some random detectives you don't give a crap about. Very boring. On to the regular series and 2nd OVA next...

Finished Black Rock Shooter. Absolutely ADORED what they did with Strength. Probably my pick for best anime of the year so far. Really well done series. Also finished Nisemonogatari. I thought it was really good, but not as good as Bakemonogatari. Still can't wait for the next installment.

Watched and finished Haganai, which I thought was fine, though the ending left a bit to be desired since it obviously set up a second season. Now I'm starting on Ano Natsu De Matteru.

Le Portrait de Petite Cossette is a Psycological Thriller. It starts slow, but does get interesting, w/ a pay off for those who kept up near the end. But it isn't for everyone, & the payoff is a 'your mileage may vary'. I, however, liked it.

    Sweet, you liked it. :D

Just started Strike Witches. Liking it so far. Barely on episode two, though. Seems like I can never find the time to watch them. With break coming up hopefully I'll be able to get s1 and most of s2 in.

Bakemonogateri. Unsubtitled. Undubbed, full on Orignal audio. I have no idea what they are saying.

Finished watching episode 6 or 7 of BRS. After the whole deal with Yuu and Strength, I had to throw in the towel. In the beginning, the series was looking promising, but then took a turn for the worst around episode 5. It all felt rushed and lackluster. Very disappointed that an OVA could outperform the main series.

This was just mediocre filler to watch until the second season of Fate/Zero starts; my passion lies there.

A good one. Great story about man vs their inner monster. A little too violent for my personal tastes sometimes but Claire is pretty badass. I really need to watch this one again sometime. I missed a few episodes somewhere in the middle.

Pumpkin Scissors, which I am watching now, is starting to bore me. It started off strong and I like Randal and Alice, but it seems to be going off on other tangets now and from what I here the ending is left too open. It wraps up enought but the conspiracy isn't fully unveiled in hopes of a second season that never materialized. Is it worth watching the whole thing?
