Yellowing out? I am confused by that statement; are you asking if I am taking yellow out of my photos or adding yellow in? I'm working on a color-calibrated monitor, and if anything the white balance on this bunch are skewed more toward the bluish side of things. These were all taken between 10 and 11am, and even though it was overcast and the sun had been up for a few hours there was still a yellowy-orangish glow to everything.

When working in Lightroom I have been developing my RAW files a bit differently than usual, making the end result a bit more stylized, but I'm just trying something new :)  Another stop along the photographic journey, if you will.

Also, I wanted the motion blur :(  It was the whole point of the shot! That one was at 1/25, but by the time I found the sweet spot at 1/3 I caught just the last few feet for the last car. Stupid commuter trains not being longer :mad

Thanks man. I had another panoramic shot that I just couldn't get the Photo Merge to stitch right. I ended up using the "Auto Blend Layers" function and that actually gave me better results. I did have to go shot by shot and match it up myself (not hard, just tedious), but it turned out nice.

Lesson learned though: when shooting a panorama, overlap each shot by at least 70%.

Weird my bro. When I do panoramas, I normally only do maybe a 20% overlap in each picture tops, because more makes me take more pics than I need to.

For matching those up yourself, you did an awesome job. Seriously... like holy shit awesome. Definitely took a lot of patience I can only imagine.

    - Views on multiple monitors, and even my phone: They have a yellowish tint, yes.

    - Cool on the motion blur. The train one, as stated is still the one I really like. just an awesome composition with the train/tracks breaking down the middle.

Man, ALL of these shots are fantastic.

I love the landscapes and the blue.

The train is awesome LH, all of those pictures look so 3D.

And those macro's are great. The ladybug just looks, well, I suppose "like jewelry" is the only way I can think of to describe it.

    <3!

I wish I had bugs and stuff out. I've seen absolutely nothing so far, but Spring's just startin', so here's hoping as more starts to bloom, they'll come out.

Feel so intimdated when I look at this thread, and feel like a complete rookie when it comes to taking advantage of my DSLR. The talent level here is incredible.

Still going through photos following the last zoo trip, which means red panda photos, of course.

...really wish I had returned my current camera and bought that 650$ DSLR I saw during Christmas time... But ugh... would've been another 400$ expense.

Still... I suppose with a little bit of photoshop... these pictures come out looking nice enough... no?

    Beautiful.

I love red pandas. They're so cute... I really need to stop by a zoo sometime and try photographing these buggers.

The color of this eye is something else... has a sort of sanguine glow to it.

Thanks! This house has been in the local news lately, and I wanted to get at least one picture of it before anything happened to it. News broke in January that an out-of-town developer bought the property and planned to demolish the historic house and two other buildings on the property, cut down all of the trees, including the hundred-year-old copper beech on the left side of the photo, then subdivide the property into three lots and build a few mini McMansions. Due to community uproar and petitioning of the ZBA, the developer has had a change of heart and word is now that some famous landscape architect wants to buy it and restore it back to its former glory.

I don't care what you're shooting with: Every pic you've taken of those has been GORGEOUS. Just plain adorable, and I'm not even someone who's huge on wildlife.
