Guys, Kup is obviously an Ironhide redeco. It looks so much like the Cyberverse toy, and it's Wave 5, while we haven't seen Wave 4 yet. Ironhide must be in Wave 4.

It's hard to express every thought, planned or otherwise, when you record a 2-3 hour conversation, especially when those involved are taking turns speaking. Hell, sometimes I pick apart our own recordings after the fact or even realized I got something wrong seconds after we hit the stop button on the recording.

Quick question: if I have yet to play any of the Mass Effect games and want to remain as spoiler-free as possible, should I skip the intermission on this one?

You should totally become a supporter & get your name changed to WangBaseRed.

Also, live action Beast Wars? That shit's gonna be real? Like, I don't keep up on all the news & whatnot like some of you guys, but damn. I honestly thought that was some sort of wanwank joke & pretty much tuned it out on those grounds.

So looking at the time index this episode is apparently over 3 1/2 hours long? Sweet. That'll make my Monday all the better. I love listening to you guys while I'm working, and a 3+ hour podcast will easily last me the entire day since I'm constantly forced to stop-and-go.

Dunno if it's ever been brought up, but if you tighten the shoulder screws on Bot Shots it makes the gimmick work so much better.
My Barricade was on a hair trigger ass hair trigger that made transofrming into vehicle mode kinda frustrating. But after tightening the screws, he works just as good as Bumblebee if not better.

Beast wars thing was a hypothetical question I thought up after seeing planet of the apes in theatres.
That should be a sign on how long it took to show up in the podcast.
I'm thinking of making a profile pic that says wang based red

Hhahah makes sense. I just recall hearing about it at least once before listening to the Podcast, so I thought it might've been legit news. I don't pay much attention to non-toy news, so yeah.

... and yeah, that avatar could be cool. You could even put a red Power Ranger in it or something, or I dunno. Either way, I think you should rock the soon be meme. :)

I had a super hair trigger Optimus Botshot (the one that came with the trailer) and my normal Optimus is fine after much head scratching I realised it was the tab behind his head that was the problem a bit of wiggling later and now he's solid too.

As to Stickers In general I'm not a fan I prefer paint - that is why I get annoyed when Takara don't do as much with the Encores as they could. but what they do is at least a help and as such I'd always recommend them over the originals as at least a Encoure Trailbreaker or Ironhide won't peel as easily.

For me the concern with ratchet is if his front grill is still moulded or not - hopefully in package pictures should clear this up easily.

I can see no choice but to use the Bee stickers as I don't think I'b be easily be able to hand paint those stripes - areas of red on Ratchet that are red stickers, or the missing silver on Optimus's shins I can easily paint instead though.

I'd not feel to disappointed about the stickers as I'd in general i'd only use a few of them. But it's probably going to be a shame with Knockout as he'd have been nice to have in the proper deco rather than the red on red the Hasbro one has.

I can see Takara Jackie being a pain too - I'd only be buying them for the Microns though - and no I'd not feel disappointed or suicidal for owning Microns as I like them just as much now as I did in the early 00's from Micron Legend toys.

I can't see why with Cliff and Bee they needed to add such crazy ports in the first place unless they were worried they'd crack during a drop test with out reinforcement if it was just a hole in the body work like RID cliff has already.

I'm not sure yet what I think of the reinforcements added to Soundwave it might be a good or a bad thing - still not sure - I'm not even sure I want to buy Soundwave twice though.

I do feel that without the Micron the unique selling point of Takara toys will be gone as the metallic paint was a good chunk of what made them cool and most of them no longer have it. RID Bee in a painted golden finish like the Premium Movie Bee toy had would have been really nice for example.

Perhaps Takara can issue the Hasbro versions of the moulds with a premium deco as part of their convention toy releases instead of the usual Black or clear repaints. Such as a shiny aluminium silver RID Voyager Megatron for example.

I might be a bit cynical about it but i'm still quite interested to see what they do with the later releases like Dreadwing/Skyquake & Knockout/Breakdown.

And as was said Skywarp does indeed look very nice.

No, it's purely theoretical. "WangBaseRed" even said as much as part of his listener question.

That the only thing you took out of a ridiculous discussion like that is, "ZOMG BEAST WARS MOVIE 4REALZ???" is hilarious.
