RoTF Thrust/Breakaway's legs can extend at the ankles. When you do, they get the chicken leg look.

 

RID Ratchet's blades peg pretty perfectly into Powerizer Optimus's hands. And I don't just mean they both have 5mm pegs. Optimus's flat wrist area creates a perfect cavity for the extra bulk of Ratchet's blades. Gives Optimus some dagger options to go along with his sword and replace that atrocious mechtech abomination.

Classics Thunderwing's guns can combine. On the back of each cannon there are two small wings. These are actually pegs! The holes are under the front of each gun, you just push them in easy and it all fits quite nicely. Thunderwing now has a giant cannon of awesome. I figured it out last night.

For those of you that are unwilling to modify your toys, you can still use the weapons from Cyberverse Commander Starscream with First Edition Deluxe Starscream. Simply remove the missiles from his arm, and slide on the Commander Class weapons with the peg facing out. It's somewhat loose, but still tight enough for play and display.

 

You can transform WFC Optimus Prime without transforming him.

 

Not sure if someone already noticed this, but RID Deluxe Wheeljack has little crevice on the sides of his backpack that can hold his swords.

How do you do the backpack storage for Prime Ratchet I've been hearing about? I can't figure it out.

As an alternative, I realized you can store the scalpels in the hollows of his arms. The end of the blade sticks out around his hand, but it's hardly noticable.

 

G1 Blitzwing has two small horizontal stabilizer wings that flip out. It's never mentioned in the instructions, and I found them one day by chance decades later after owning it since I was a kid.

 

I think Peaugh explains it well.

 

So after checking YouTube...wow. That sucks. The storage I figured out is much better.

 

Pretty damned sure that's in the instructions. And in almost every pictorial review of him/Sky Shadow.
