I am very interested in there, I have the butcher set which massively improves universe onslught by making him so not onslught (that bulk does not fit the charicter to me so now it some one new and totally un-onslught like), but that set wasn't perfect, the alt mode seem rather an after thought with that kit, I hope these turn out better.

Oh hell yes! Highbrow and mindwipe are a done deal!

I recently decided that I have too replace my HR hardhead with a deluxe ish fig since I've got stronghold repping IDW styled fortress and the rest of the headmasters should be deluxe ish...... Was gonna use universe Ratbat as mindwipe but I suppose since he's the leader of the basic Con HM he can be voyager.

Surprised HR haven't done a new head for energon Scorponok?

If you care, paint the figure. If you don't, don't. If the product is not for you, don't buy it. But what exactly was HR supposed to do? KO Mindwipe in, uh, Mindwipe colors?

And I'm pretty sure people care more about original colors than new ones. That's the whole reason behind making kits like these in the first place, is to replicate more of the original character than the mold does on its own. Otherwise, if new colors can be "picked up", then so can new body styles, and then there'd be no point in the add on kits in the first place. It goes both ways.

Yeah really, not to mention there is obviously a high demand for them. Just read this thread for proof! Besides, i'm sure they will do them in the colors the figures are already so if you don't like them for their intended homages, have them as NEW headmasters, problem solved.

That's what I was going to say.

Given the pretty damned positive feedback in this thread so far, I think the general opinion is that people really don't give a damn about how accurate the colours are, as long as they look good, and aren't totally out of left-field.

So, if you're the type to get hung up about impeccable accuracy to a 25 year-old toy, don't buy it. Won't be our loss if you don't.

The rest of us will bask in the glory of HR's creative character upgrades, thank you very much.

thx for the comments and critiques all.

yeah, we basically make a ton of stuff for our internal group, anything that seems like it would be popular or the figure is easier to get we make available for the public. in regards to colors and everything not much control we have over base figures.

everything shown publicly so far EXCEPT for Big Road is planned for mass release. Remember iguana? check the back of centurion card art. IT STILL LIVES.

we don't force any releases just to make money, when the molds and parts are perfect they will come out. we believe people would rather have more perfect parts slower than parts that don't fit 100% faster.

    signingoutthanks!

forcing us to come back, haha.

drone or blood dx next. the steel tools are done for those two and ronin.

it's getting harder and harder to release stuff publicly, our members are all old school and some of the homages we put in are completely lost. there is a reason darksol is the 10th and there is a reason it has a cape.

Eh? The colors are pretty darn close. Mindwipe doesn't have any brown, but the red and black scheme fits well, otherwise.

Skyhammer's shades of blue and white aren't the same as for the original Highbrow, but his general color pallete is correct. Not every "classics" version of a character ha shad the EXACT same colors so this really isn't outside the ballpark for that.

Damn, they must have been reading my thoughts again. I was just hoping for a headrobots mindwipe the other day... and wanted a Highbrow from Skyhammer, but thought it might be too much to hope for. Headrobots is getting a bunch of my cash this year.
