They said that the Dark of the Moon line would be done by then, not that there would be no more movie-based toys. We may still see them show up in a Generations-like sub line. Although, I think if Jetwing Prime makes it to the US, it's going to be a store exclusive.

 

My Jetwang finally touched down yesterday. I'm of two minds about this guy, he looks awesome, but the price and import shenagigans I had to endure to get him have soured it a little... well a lot for me.

Still he is luuuuuurvly. Jetwang looks so much better than ROTF Corpse Convoy!

take off the gray bar thing, then file down the edges of the handle until it fits in his hand. i think i also cut a bit of the black plastic so it could slide into his hand more for stability.

I don't care if he is a store exclusive! I want this figure so bad, but I really don't want to have to pay $200 for him. -sigh- Why does Japan get all the good stuff?

 

It's because their target market is adults due to low birth rate and the fact that culturally, the hobby of collecting toys is more widely accepted than it is here in the US. In the US, kids make up the bulk of the market, and near $200 is steep to a parent whose child wants a Transformer.

I want this figure too and may order one, I've given up hope for this as a retailer exclusive here. Seems Hasbro would rather focus on Ultimate Prime(which I have, but I know I will like Jetwing better).

 

After watching DOTM DVD 2X, I wish he came with screen accurate arm cannons instead of the long guns. The arm cannons are a four cannon battery that would look awesome on the figure. Maybe a 3rd party could cast them for use with either Jet Wing or Ultimate.

 

I like the look of the chain guns, but I too hope a third party company makes accurate guns for him.

Sorry if this is considered late but I was looking for pics with Mech Tech weapons added and found this thread. What are the black weapons pointing up on the thrusters? (It looks similar to if you put DB guns on Predaking wings.) Can the gatling guns be place on the jet pack in robot mode. So he is not holding them in his hands but are still functional or even stored. Is there a base mode (fan-made)? Can someone please post a pic of him holding a sword. thank you.

I actually got both the original and nemesis versions  

Personally I think the nemesis version looks better.... much better in person than in pictures since the green is actually a metallic green.

 

Yeah this is why I decided to bite the bullet and buy one. Hasbro really should have released this instead of Ultimate Prime.
