Now that would be nice as I had the Takara reissue in my hands but at 110$ was way too mutch.Here's hopping its true cause I am for it and will get it (never had the G1 version)

Hasbro probably looked at how much Soundwave was going for on the secondary market and saw the demand for this item.

Hmm...hopefully he is not too "hasbrofied" I want the weapons to be chrome! That being said I already have an misb vintage 1st run pre rubsign soundwave. However one to play with would be nice, since the ony I have loose is broken

Laserbeak's decals are very similar to the "european" / "chinese version" from the late 80's. If this were a legit release, that's NOT the right sticker seen on the US Hasbro / Takara reissue set.

I noticed that ToyNK is now stocking the KO Prime. I'm thinking this situation might be similar.

 

This is cool for those that missed out on the Japanese reissue of this or Soundblaster. I didn't, so I'll be passing. I'll pick it up on the off-chance it comes with Rumble, Frenzy, and/or Ratbat. Which I doubt.

 

His hips aren't mistransformed. And even if they were, that would mean his knees were in his hips too.

Add that to the badly scupted detail (melty head) and terrible alt mode (seriously - it's worse than the tape you could make with Action Master Soundwave), and it's got no redeeming features whatsoever. Indeed, I'd have thought that vastly superior original would canibalise sales of the Titanium quite badly.

I thought that as well, but after talking it over with a few people and re-reading the e-mail, which used such terms as Hasbro Re-Issue, and Commemorative Series. I also trust the source as reliable since he had gotten me hard to find items before and recently

I couldn't be happier if this happens. I'm amazed Reissue Soundwave is going for so much nowadays and wish I woulda picked him up originally.

 

I think this is just a rumor, but I'll take this with a grain of salt.
