Hello everyone. I submit for your approval my take on Fall of Cybertron Grimlock inspired by concept art and the video game trailer. The base is a Classic's Grimlock with facial modifications to make it look less like an alligator. In robot mode I built leg extensions for height and used a G1 Grimlock chest piece modified to give him that classic barrel chest. The shoulder's have been beefed up to match the trailer design as well. He also features a custom built blade weapon stylized after the one seen in the trailer with some variations. I added bulk to the sides of the blade so that in use not only would the weight help cleave Decepticons in half, it could also be use to bludgeon his enemies by backhanding them with it. In dinosaur mode you can see that I added the jetpack as shown the the concept art and elongated the tail giving a blade-like tail weapon that could do nasty damage with it's reach.

I hope you all enjoy and if you would like to see my progression in posts feel free to see the attached links to my earlier work. Thanks for popping by and thoughts are welcome!

Honestly I think those shoulders stick out way too much in robot mode.

Now this I like much better than the original classics grimlock. Here he doesn't have so much street walker boots anymore. If I had something I must mention, is if there is a way to get rid of his high heels look. The rest looks great man, this I'd have no problem buying in the stores for grimlock. Can we get any comparison shots with Prime or the others?

I like the concept, but there is just no way to do FOC Grimmy justice in a deluxe scale.
Still, for what it is, it's pretty damn good.

I agree with red vs blue and with cliffjumper, robot mode those pads stick WAY to far up. The dinosaur mode is brilliant! Robot is where it fails upon, I would of went with articulating a energon grimlock and going with that as he has more possability to matching the robot mode as well as that you could of worked in the tail as well into that figure.

Nice work on this guy. Really love the side by sides. It really shows how much you added and how much taller your custom is than the original. Seems pretty nicely in scale with WFC Prime too. Personally I think bee should have been a scout sized figure to fit in better but that's not relevant.

wow that colour scheme looks great an the mods look awesome if only the shoulder "pads" could come down over the arms to make the shoulders look wider and bulkier! and this thread really needs more pix
