Yah man why so defensive? I was actually trying to add a little levity to this stale thread.

I've got no problem with that if that's the case, as long as it's not like what's happening on the other threads.  

There's always someone trying to be funny on any boards, be it mods, 'old birds' or 'newbie upstarts'. That's how some ppl like to behave online, when in fact they are ok ppl in real life. Strange yet true and I don't know why. No denying that it has happened here before too. In fact I understand that some of the perp's posting rights have been revoked.

As for SGC, no doubt many have encountered nasty mods/admins who don't mince their words. I've witnessed such incidents myself and do not quite aprove of their approach. However, I do not own the site nor set the rules but I know that there are still those who approach things with a level head. That's just how things are.

I'm sure when some of us get to meet up, we'll understand one another better. Things have the tendecy to get misunderstood online, when smileys are simply just not enough  

 

Ppl get bold and forget their manners when they are anonymous.

BTW, what is the name of the other forum? I feel like I'm reading a Harry Potter book.

They had a loose leader ironhide with the upgrade kit for a pretty reasonable price 2 weeks back, assuming they still have stock i think it won't set you back too much...
