The lack of Vicarious Visions for a TF game on the DS makes me sad. They seem to be the one developer who understood how to make Transformer DS games fun.

 

Wii and 3DS are in a similar ballpark figure in that they're both well below the performance of PS3, 360, Vita, Wii U, and PC. It wouldn't make sense to release Prime on Wii U, when you can release a Fall of Cybertron port.

Well, this went from "hmm, interesting" to "oh, well, more licensed shovelware aimed at unsuspecting youths." in teh blink of an eye.

 

No, that is the EXACT vibe one is supposed to get when the only platforms a game is releasing on are Nintendo ones. (Obvious exceptions are Nintendo-owned properties, and single platform releases like "only on the Wii" or "only on teh 3DS", etc.)

 

i will get it but it would make most sense to put it under Wii U system after all it is coming out this year! or next year!

i want to see more of the game fottage first!(gameplay) i hope we can play as the descepticons too and not just the autobots!

like the TRANSFORMES MOVIE GAME(THE 1ST LIVE ACTION MOVIE GAME) AUTOBOT AND DECEPTICONS CAMPAIN!! THAT ONE IS THE BEST ONE! AND ALSO THE DESTRUCTION OF THE CITY TOO!

 

Its for the WII not any of the Power House Systems so I will pass.

 

Comes out in the Fall, eh? Looks like it'll have some tough competition. Might pick it up for the 3DS if it gets decent reviews.

Well since it's a nintendo exclusive chances are it will be garbage. (hence why I dont own a nintendo system anymore, havent liked nintendo since Super Nintendo)

All the DS transformers games are lame, boring and bland... the Wii WFC rail shooter... boring.

I'd have hope it it was on PS3 or Xbox 360 and NOT done by the team who did the DotM game, lol

I hope it'll be good, but my expectations are very low. For all we know, it could have been in the making for a while, but I reckon that it's probably a rush job. It would have been nice to at least see some gameplay footage. I know it's a teaser trailer, but I think the general consensus is that the trailer isn't helping the game either way.

Tis funny... with the awesome power of the Xbox 360 and the PS3 (and Vita), they choose to go with the crappiest of the systems... the Nintendos. As an owner of the Wii and DS, I can honestly say I will pass on TF-Prime, no matter how cool it may look, just because I'm tired of all the kids games being Wii and DS exclusives. I know this may come as a shock to the gaming industry, but PS3 and Xbox owners have kids too! I would EASILY pay $60 for a "Dynasty Warriors"-style game with the 5 core Autobots fighting off hundreds of decepticon drones. Surprises me more companies don't mimic the intensity of the Dynasty Warriors franchise. Those games are a blast to play with a friend, and it would adapt beautifully to Transformers or Ninja Turtles, or almost any other cartoon franchise of a small group up against an army....
