Well, I already have the three iGear Coneheads, so clearly my moral compass is pointing true North. It's just that these are currently £45 shipped from iGear.... Which is very tempting.

Regarding Prime/YouTube. I worked it out. They are clearly trying to stop Prime being viewed in countries outside the US, as they don't have the Hub here and they don't want us to see their deacadent US cartoon, Comrades! It's official..... Hasbro hates the UK!!!! Zomg!!!!

It's just that out of all the copyright chasing that Hasbro could do, this is the worst kind as it is cutting off their advertising. Advertising that they are clearly not interested in doing outside the US. And, they are are uber dilligent with this. Pretty much every YouTuber who has episodes has had to take them down and has stopped posting them. It's extreme.

 

You're sure it a painted panel?

I guess, if the silver dot was a splash of paint, after the fact, it might be thinner than the the red paint under it, and you could possibly get it off with a dab of (model) pain thinner on the end of a cotton bud?

 

Personally, I'd leave well alone. Sounds like the kind of thing where a small problem can easily become a big problem!

Haha, my WST KO Ultra Magnus arrived today, what an awesome little bugger.

Now I have 2 WST Ultra Magnuses, my Original and this KO. I can't be bothered to check out the differences between the original and the KO, but initial impressions is the KO has stickers for cab windows, IIRC the original is painted?

 

Yep, the KO Ultra Magnus' are excellent, though I went overboard and have at least 6-7 variants I think. There's no stickers with the original WST Ultra Magnus

 

Those takara prime toys look worse every time i see them. Ratchet in particular is hideous, it looks like the only painted area is his face. It seems like i preordered a very expensive minicon.

A very, very gentle surface scrape, with a very, very sharp knife. Only attempt this if you can see that the paint spot in question is raised, even if only by half a mil. If you're not confident about your ability to do this, then don't.

Cybershadow - if you have the i-gear seekers, I recommend Thundercracker if you haven't bitten already. A much better shade of blue, and T'Cracker should be lighter than Dirge.

 

Does nobody use bit-torrent? Its just that hd or sd episodes are available every week on a sunday with out fail from various websites. I've never watched an episode on youtube but cant imagine the quality even touching a full downloaded sd version.

 

I watch prime on YouTube. You have to be quick but the quality is good! No grainy horrible videos. I'd say almost DVD quality which is fine by me

 

Me too. I am against BitTorrent. But, Hasbro is hitting YouTuber so hard that many are just not uploading any future episodes, making it more difficult every week. So, instead of watching the episodes online and engaging in the hype and letting it influencing my buying, I will have to BitTorrent episodes and save them. Really hacked off with this, more than I really should I guess.

 

It is one of my all time favourite figures. I was'nt initially struck on the classics version, but I got the henkei version last year off a kind fellow on these boards- and it instantly became one of the best figures I've ever owned. The takara paint job is just utterly brilliant, and its amazing how much difference a different shade of red makes. Its one of the best examples IMO of takara doing a much better job on the paint of a figure

My girlfriends brother is a builder, and he was big into tf's as a kid in the 80's- but isnt into anything like that now. However, when he came round one night, he wouldnt put henkei prime down and was obsessed with it.

It was also the first toy his 2 year old kid wanted to play with.

I wait for the rapidshare links to appear. I prefer having it to watch on my tele, with nothing stopping it and not having to watch it in parts  

 

Its the end of March, we never know to the exact day and avoid saying so because it invariably lets you down when it doesn't materialize  

 

Has anyone here have any Hercules bots on pre-order from ebay seller 'Ratchetsclinic'? Just wondering if anyone is still waiting on Neckbreaker & MAd Blender like myself as ratchetsclinic seems to have went totally quiet without any updates over the past month and a bit.

Really hoping i am not £100 bucks out.

i always live by the rule of email them every day till you get a reply,
he does respond, but i think sometimes its only when he has some info to give you,
if he doesnt know the avalibility dates he should tell you that, but instead it seems he will reply when he actually knows,

I have an absoluty ******ed dilema, its so petty and stupid but i want as many responses as possible as for some reason its making me think..

Right here is my prob.

Im loving the prim rid line and im gunna be a mosc collector (basically buy 2 of every fig, 1 for display and the other sealed)
i was going to buy all the american carded figures to use as my mosc collection, mainly because they have the tec specs on the sides of the boxes and a cool little yellow diagonal line on the front stating what weapons this figure comes with,
BUT
i did not realise that the cards are alot bigger than the european release,
I really like the smaller carded uk release boxes and would like to use them as my mosc display,
problem is i have opened and displayed my uk versions,

At the mo i have wheeljack, soundwave and soon to be ratchet and arcee all american release mosc

uk release mosc cliffjumper,

Now do i try to get rid/swapp the american ones for the uk ones?
keeping in mind that the americans will see a full release of all the lines and ours might stop by wave 3 or 4
if this happens then half of my mosc collection is gunna have to be the bigger carded american release

I know my problem seems anal but i just dont like the bigger cards (basically there same size as all the classics, generations)

the uk cards just look fantastic displayed hanging on the wall,

what are the chances that even if we stop on wave 4 then all the other potential waves 5, 6, 7, 8 or so will see some kind of european release - this way i could still get the shorter carded versions

I want as many opinions as poss folks,

And if i go the way of the uk cards then i need to swap/sell

I got one a couple of weeks back, about the igear ironhide ive preordered.

I think he said his mrs was sick or something which is why the updates had slowed down.
I think thats what he said, i could be misremembering that bit
