Hullooo all! Been awhile. Here's my rendering of Generation 1 Optimus Prime via the DMK-01 model. This piece will be on display at the CYbertron COnvention at Resorts World Sentosa.

Some grievances..This set is really really painful to do up. Many parts dun really fit and had to be worked on before fixing. I'm just glad it's done! Really hope that some of you will be able to see it in person at the display gallery. Will upload DMK-02 Bumblebee in awhile!

And what a comeback: excellent paint job as always! Love the overall look, crisp paint, tons of details and a very nice shading!

The only thing I don't like on this mold (your is perfect, don't worry) is the silly looking face of Optimus, especially the eyes looks weird to me!

 

Hhaha. Thanks. By the way, I think a lot of people were pretty cheesed off with the convention. It had really bad lighting? ANd that people were a bit bored of seeing countless DMK customs on display. Hahha. Can't be helped. Hasbro sponsored only DMK sets to the artists being invited.

I totaly agree with LW glad to see you havent disappeared on us. your paints realy make him shine (no pun intended) but the eyes are realy distracting from your over all work. still great job

 

Who doesn't love the OP DMK?   Oh, upper thigh pads on wrong sides; unless its a G1 accuracy thing   Nice metallic paint.

LOlZ. No..It's not a G1 thingy. I fixed it the wrong way! Hahah. Thanks. Oh dear. Now on display. Cant do a thing until I get it back

Nice paint job! I have to agree with Limewire about the face... the way the face is somehow gave it very creepy eyes...
