SavCon 2012 - New Savannah, GA Convention

    Me and a ragtag band of TFans are putting together a convention in Savannah, GA next summer. We've booked the rooms and are currently finalizing the details and looking into guest appearances for some discussion panels. We've got a couple people interested and at least one who has all but committed. We don't want to give up too many details until this fall but it's going to be awesome!

    We're trying to gauge interest so feel free to PM me if you're interested or have any ideas and make sure to post in the talkback and let us know what you think!!

    We'll definitely keep you guys posted and will hopefully have an official site for the convention up soon.

    Count me in. I can't believe Savannah is getting a Transformers convention. I'm so excited for 2012.

    this isn't connected to SCAD at all. I held an event for the Dark Of The Moon movie premiere last month and I made the decision to create a yearly convention.

    This might be a good weekend trip for the family next summer. The wife and daughters can head to the beach or enjoy the town while I'm getting my plastic crack fix. :D

    lol, If my gf and daughter goes maybe they can hang out on the beach. But would love to get in sometime in the afternoon on friday so I can see some of the town.

    It is a big damn city. Larger then you would think. I basically grew up in Savannah. A town with lots of history and issues. lol!

    We have been working on the issues, The City Counsel passed a bill that only those with Issues shall report to River Street on Friday & Saturday night between 7pm and 3am LOL!!

    My brother, Jon3pnt0, is also doing a fan panel on making funny TF videos, and he has told me he will premiere a TF video spoof exclusively at Savcon.
