I called at 9:30, was guaranteed I'd have one, and now I'm hearing that they arent honoring phone orders, so I have no idea how the hell to vote. maybe there should be an option for "I think I ordered one by phone"

 

I gave up after lunch time. Had to get a sammich.

 

Definitely tried all day, but one second it was coming soon and the next it was out of stock!

 

Had it almost ordered from TCC like most people, and like most kept being told my CC info was wrong, and then started getting other page errors when going back and trying again.

Refreshed the HTS website all day with no luck...I even tried the clicking the "coming soon" button and nothing showed in my cart.

I was going to call but then people starting coming back with stories of being told to go to the website, nothing being sold over the phone.

A fantastical waste of a day.

 

I didn't order from HTS. Being in Canada, I had to go through Ebay. And from what I've been reading I'm glad that I did.

It cost me about 30+25 shipping, but I really recommend the toy. He's worth it.
There are still some around on ebay at that prices, but overall the prices seem to be going up.

I would have ordered, but I dont have a credit card. They really need to accept more payment methods other than CC.

 

Nope. I tried both, TFCC was SOLD OUT by the time I tried not to much later after it was offered and then when I tried HTS they were having problems. I'll be getting one off of eBay.

 

I was at work, so I couldn't.

Of course, even if I were at home, I have no credit card, so I was totally screwed out of this one.  

 

Hell, I wasn't even able to try. That whole fiasco with the website and then the magic switch from coming soon to out of stock never really gave me much of a chance. (I was out doing more important things when the switch occurred, but from what I've heard in the other threads, the option simply never presented itself.)

 

So, I make sure I'm at a computer at 8:45. I run a letter to the mailbox. When I come back, the site was down. The site got back up. I go take a crap. I come back. "Out of Stock"

I think everyone that missed NP came here after when HTS crashed...

 

How about an option that says "I had ordered one by phone but was later told by a supervisor that any phone orders would not be filled"?

 

Got me one from eBay for $35 + $15 shipping. Considering sales tax and shipping I would have paid about $35 from the TFCC, the $15 mark up isn't that bad in my eyes to save myself from all the grief surronding this day.

 

I did not get one from them. I called 5 times and they all told me no phone orders on this item even when I explained that others were doing it. Guess I got all the bad operators. I did however, get one from Hong Kong a while back, but now I am def not opening him.

 

Looks like I may have been able to get one according to the news on the main page here. I was online at the time they went on sale and saw the Coming Soon button. I clicked on it just to see what would happen but nothing did. Now it seems I might have had one in a cart at some point??

It's just not right how limited these are here when I read that stores in HK, Singapore or whereever have stacks of them on the shelves.

 

I tried to get one off of TFCC but there system glitched while I finilized my order and Hasbrotoyshop never showed they had then in stock. What a waste of time, but know it's time for a hard drink.
