Just picked up the only PRID wave 2 arcee and ratchet from wal-mart in Commerce. The had the rest of the wave left. First sighting in a wal-mart?

Grrr still no Rachets! If anyone finds him,anywhere from buford, and cumming to buckhead and can stash me one, and shoot me a pm I'll make it worth your while. I'm army building them for a custom project and need 5-6

 

Finally found TFP Deluxe Ratchet at the Target on 120. Grabbed the only one they had.

 

Found Movie Trilogy Optimus at my local Walmart along with TFP Soundwave, Bumblebee, and Cliffjumper!

 

I havent been able to get the other three Walmarts in Macon, the 2 in Warner Robins, or the ones in Forsyth, Milledgeville, and Eatonton. I plan on going to those today plus the Target and TRU in Warner Robins.

Yesterday I was able to get to the TRU in WR, the target on Eisenhower in Macon, the 3 other walmarts in Macon, Macon Kmart, and Walmart in Forsyth.

Most of them had very similar stock, but I'll transfer my notes from my phone into here.

Sorry, no cyberverse shockwave sets so far. I'll check the target in tucker, TRU at northlake, and everything loganville and snellville this weekend.

 

I guess its too late or I missed out on finding Transformers Prime Figures such as the entertainment pack gift set, 1st edition cliffjumper, terrorcon cliffjumper, vehicon, bulkhead, and optimus prime.

They were never released in the US and have been canceled. Hasbro had a press release late January/early February about it that had the fandom in a rage for some time. They said there was a miscommunication with retailers like BBTS and they were never meant to be released here. All but Terrorcon Cliffjumper and Vehicon were released in Canada.

Wow, well sucks for us at least those of us who are not in canada.
Anyways since wave/series 1 stuff for tfp isn't really hard to find I will blab my sightings: Gwinnett tru and walmart had 1 tfp wheeljack each and lots of bee, cliff, megs, and optimus. Northpoint tru also had 2 wheeljacks (1 after my purchase. Definately the most bad@$$ wheeljack I've bought in recent memory) plenty of bees, cliff, megs, and optimus. Still no soundwave but he will show since its only wave 1.

 

Odd. They weren't there when I checked that Walmart a couple weeks ago. I won't be down that way again until mid-April, but thanks for the heads-up. A friend also gave me a lead on a couple he'd seen up closer to where I live. I'm going to check that location this weekend.

IMPORTANT: for those who recently started checking this thread or are newer TFW members -- when you are posting sightings, especially those for clearance items -- please be aware that members of Georgia Transformers Fans have confirmed that toy scalpers in the Atlanta are exploiting this thread for leads on where to find items. I personally have met two of them in person in Gwinnett County who admitted using this thread but they have never once contributed any info of help to the rest of us. There's a third one who also lives in Gwinnett Co who was a dealer at Anime Weekend Atlanta -- the same one I've mentioned here several times who laughingly told me at AWA that he had bought up every single TRU exclusive re-issue Soundwave -- 42 of them, in fact.

I've since discovered two others at another Atlanta-area convention who live around Conyers and Newnan.

Several of us who post regularly in this thread only share locations for sightings via PM. Granted, it takes longer to find out where items are located, but it's worth it to keep from being beat to the item you're looking for by a scalper. I would strongly encourage others to do the same if you really want to help each other out. Otherwise, we're just making it really easy for scalpers to exploit us for info.

Voiceroy: Thanks for reminding us of this. I don't post that often, but when I do I have something to say. Thanks for being kind of the frontman for us here in this thread. I know I have found several things I have been looking for thanks to the fine folks here, and all of those findings came via pm... I live in and work in Gwinnett and I can really tell a difference in the aisles of my local stores when things are kept to personal messaging.

And to Felix -- thanks for the reply. We really need to meetup sometime since we live so close. I've send you PMs about this in the past but I guess you don't check yours regularly but then I'm not on TFW much either. I'll send you another one today though with my email and phone number. You need to join us for the monthly meetup in the Dunwoody area. It's a GI Joe/Action Figures meetup group, but 3-4 members of the GATF group have been attending as well I've been carpooling with a friend who lives near Gainesville and you'd be welcome to join us. I've posted about the meetups here this year and usually delete the post after the meetup date.
