It appears that the 1976 Porsche 935 that was the inspiration for G1 Jazz's alt mode will be going up for auction this Friday and bidding is expected to reach $1.7 to $2 million. Take a look at the Wired article linked below. Going Once, Going Twice: An Unreal Lot of Turbocharged Porsches | Autopia | Wired.com
Wow, I never realized Porsche had a 2.9 Turbo motor pulling 600+ HP. That is impressive. Now if I can find that $2 mil I had laying around....
Saw this auction a few weeks ago...*wishes I had millions lying around* ...it would be the ultimate Jazz collection item...
oh dear Lord when I saw the title I thought it was the toy going for 1 million dollars and I'm all are you fucknig serious!?!?!?! LOL
I'd slap an Autobot logo on it and hire it out for TF conventions. Maybe charge people to have their photo taken with it. Or I'd just keep my two million.
G1 Jazz's vehicle mode is definitely my favorite G1 car mode, and one of my favorite TF car modes in ever.
Exactly. Also, its no wonder he won that race in season 3, even if he had to enter under an alias to protect his identity from the decepticons.
Me too! Had to see that toy!! ...but the car looks amazing too...ahhhh yes, it would be great to drive that Jazzie..or let him drive me around, either way.. Sad tho, the guy who collected them was only 35 when he died...and several of the others will go for even more than Jazz..holy moly.
if you added autobot symbol to that car, it worth $5 million dollars. I remember they use this car as a model for Jazz when they released G1 Jazz in 1984 but in 1985, 1990 (Goldfen Classics), 2001, and 2008, they blacked out "Martin Racing" out. If I am a billionaire, I would buy this and add autobot symbol to it then place it next to General Lee, Back to Future, 1990 Batmobile, 1901 Model T, James Bond "Dr. No" Thunderbuird, A-Team van, MASH jeep, Hound (Jeep), Etco-1, Ironhide (van), Ratchet (van), Wheeljack (car), Mirage (car), 1966 Batmobile, Herbie, and Track (car)
