Id say it looks like a prime-esque Ironhide

 

Yeah,if all we know if were' getting a deluxe version of hide' it be a new mold entirely,making it just a repaint of ratchet,if geewunny,would be just unnecesary. Besides,i would love seeing the retool as payload. maybe the colors based on the X-dimension version of armada payload and have some deco design cues from movie 1 payload. as long as they don't use the new head for a repaint involving ratchet in movie colors.

Here is prime ironhide, so it DEFINTIELY can NOT be him.

 

I would have to throw in my my vote that this will be what Ironhide looks like. Ratchet and Ironhide have almost always shared the same vehicle and bot modes.

the first thing i think of when i see this, is strangely Megatron's floating head/ship thing from Beast Machines. but that's just me.

 

The head looks sooo familiar ... yet I have no clue who it could be.

 

I looks like Cliffjumper without his horns and with those "sideburns" that DOTM Shockwave has.

 

It has the general shape of Movie Starscream's head. Is that why it's familiar?

I mean just the shape of the head. Compare it to a Movie Starscream toy.
