Anyone else think the design that came up when Orion searched "Optimus Prime" looked like it could be Prime Ultra Magnus? The shoulders and head just SCREAM Magnus.

 

From the first image of him, he looked purple. Maybe it was just the bad lighting.

I still refer to him as Terrorcon Kickback. No idea why, it just sounds neat.

I agree. I like how they set up tension enoguh to actually care for your favourite character in any situation that he/she's in. That's why I worry for Arcee often now because I'm hoping it doens't mean it'll be her but then again it may not and if that's the case great! 

While the show's not really perfect it does get things like tension down very nicely.

 

I cracked up when Fowler was talking to Breakdown.

 

Why couldn't the deceptions put cameras in the work space instead of recording what happens on orion pax's screen to hear him think out lou-oh wait, PLOT DEVICE. Or something.

 

Dude, I thought that too! I thought it was Magnus at first.

 

Exactly and of course is not perfect but compare to most animation shows this day of age, I think is pretty damn good.

It has a nice mixture of characterization, violence, maturity, humor and of course incredible voice acting. To me the voice acting is perfect. Not just with Cullen and Welker but from the entire cast.

 

I was definitely thinking that as well. I sure hope it's UM, as it's a pretty crazy awesome design.

 

I thought this was a pretty good episode. One thing is for sure, some crazy crap is going to happen in Orion Pax Part 3.

 

I assumed it was Sentinel/Zeta Prime at first, but I could definitely see that as being Ultra Magnus. Dem shoulder towers.

Most of todays cartoons are still good too however like the New Thundercats,Star Wars the Clone Wars,My Little Pony Friendship is Magic (Of course. ) Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated,The Spectacular Spiderman show,Even Pheinas and Ferb a cute show in my opinon.

I'll go as far to say that if Prime keeps on doing good with it's thing it may ned up being the Batman TAS of Transformers just like how Animated's like the Teen Titans of Transformers! It's abig thing to say yes but still it's still a very top notch show all aorund!

 

It almost looked like an amalgamated design of TFP Prime and Megs. But yeah, Sentinel or Magnus would be amazing.

 

Ok, by far my favorite part was Arcee's reaction to arriving on Cybertron. "I never wanted to show you my home... like this." That was fantastic.

 

Yeah, this guy looks a shit ton like Ultra Magnus. He's got the shoulder spires and everything!

 

My favorite part as well. A lot of emotion in that one scene you could feel her sadness.

 

Could be, it would be a FANtastic touch....from the novels we know that Magnus and a few Wreckers were left behind to continue to mangle a few Cons whenever possible.

 

Ah, good. I thought I was the only one who thought that.

It makes sense from a production and story standpoint.

They wouldn't want to create a model that they wouldn't use a few times. So, it's either a new model we'll see reused for a character or they slapped pieces of existing models together.

From the story side, Soundwave only had so much time to alter the data and encrypt it. He was ordered to alter everything mentioning Optimus Prime, which should go back thousands of years. With the order never to say Optimus Prime's name in Orion Pax's presence, he probably didn't think he needed it to match too closely with Megatron's story. He probably didn't even think to update the file after Megatron made up the story.

 

It's like Cybertron was a really old house that got burnt down in a fire. I felt sadness when she said that.
