Hulk was just an early adopter of Purple Spandex, I think Doc Connors shops at the same store as Bruce that sells high stretch purple trousers for use by green metamorphosing characters.

Just visited Watford Sainsburys (the one next to ASDA), they had the Prime deluxes! Picked up Soundwave, Cliffjumper, and Wheeljack. Then visited ASDA and got all the Wave 1 bot shots (except for Sentinel Prime and big rig optimus), the Star Wars fighter pods sith infliltrator pack, and a Class 1 Anakin/Jedi Starfighter. All for the grand total of £45. :D

Speaking of Star Wars Transformers ; is the 2nd wave of them about much ? so far it' seems to be wave 3 every place I go. I think TRU had wave 2 at some point but not lately.

I think I've seen wave 2 at TRU as well some weeks back, but I've lost interest in collecting the deluxe scale figures ever since the end of 2007, when they decided to not include the micro pilot figures yet still increase the price :lol

Looks like I jumped the gun pre-ordering takara ratchet. It looks like it has even less paint apps than the hasbro version replacing them with bloody stickers. I was just about to pull the trigger on knockout and 3 vehicons glad I saw this news first.

Right, I'm off to the States in April. What are the chances, do you reckon, of us seeing wave three in March? Chances are we won't, I'll pick up toys in the US at full price and come home to discover them 2-for-1 all over the place. Mumble grumble.

Y'know what? Looking through the pics at Prime toys (not speaking from great experience) but I'm a little underwhelmed. 40 Generations toys can not get here soon enough.

I don't know. Is it confirmed that Ratchet is all stickers? This would be an unsual change for Takara, no? I think that he looks better, but still not enough for me to actually pay for him. I also didn't realise that Prime Skywarps Demon Shuriken Goat folded up to me a dagger. That is cool.

And, I don't know what it is, but I just can't get behind that new MP Starscream. To me, the original just looks better in pretty much every way. I hate the new legs/feet and the null rays on ball joints, and I am just not interested in the cloak and crown at all. I will be sticking with the original versions, and happy that they now won't release any more and MP Seeker collection is 'complete'.... aside from more Coneheads.

US full price is UK 2-for-1!

I would be surprised if we see wave three, if only for the reason that it has Airachnid in it.

Airachnid is later then that, Hasbro haven't even confirmed her yet. Wave three is Knockout and Mk II Vehicon.

Hmmm..... That's.... not great. It does look like Takara are seriously cutting costs. I kind of like the idea of 'build it yourself' Microns, but great paint ap's removed and partially replaced by stickers is not a good thing.

Yeah, sorry. My brain knew that wave three was the next time I wanted something, but it was Vehicon, not Airachnid.

What you don't realise is that on some Japanese message Boards, Japanese fans are raging over how Takara hates Japan ever since they were merged with Tomy, how the US and UK get RID first and stickers for Japan is because the rest of the world stole all the paint.

Did anyone here just order 1 Over-Run and 1 Drift from the TFCC Club Store, AND also have recieved them?

If so, how much did you pay in Customs charges for them?

Only asking as mine are currently en route, and will supposedly be in the country on Monday.

Hey guys, I know I don't post in this thread very much but I was wondering if, being all the awesome UKers that you are, you could do me a huge favour?

For my university MA project (in magazine journalism) I'm looking to create a magazine that focuses on new and current-line toy collecting. I was wondering if you could take 5 minutes of your time to fill out my market research questionnaire so I can establish readership and what readers would look for in the magazine.

New upcoming toy/collectibles magazine - SURVEY

Thanks in advance :)  and now this thread can carry on with its usual business :lol

Just did your survey mate ^ Your magazine seems like a very interesting idea :thumb
If anyone stops by Sainsburys, I'm looking for a Powerizer Optimus, and Cyberverse Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, Arcee, and Stevie (Vehicon) since they're on sale, I'll pay all the £43 as well as shipping, PM me please, thanks :)
