So I have a theory. I think that there is a VERY strong connection between Soundwave and the Eradicons and/or the Vehicons. I believe that, as the show has implied, the Eradicons are Sentient, with personality, thoughts, memories, etc. But there is a reason that they all look the same. I think during the war, Soundwave worked on some new technology. This technology would allow him to control and gain the senses of other beings. His first project was the little drone Laserbeak. Obviously, Laserbeak had no prior life. To test if this technology would work elsewhere, Soundwave took a few of their extra troops out of the field and reformated them. Now, Soundwave can use the Eradicons as a large set of weapons. Soundwave can see what they see and control them at will. The Eradicons still have their memories and personalities, but they cannot express this, seeing as they are absolutely controlled by Soundwave. So, yeah, just a theory. I'll probably be proven wrong soon, though. Oh and I included pictures not for the need of them, I just like pictures in threads.
I don't know... If the Eradi/Vehicons were also silent, like Soundwave, then I could see a connection. As it is, I can't really buy into it.
There unfortunately is that... but you also have to remember that Soundwave (according to NYCC people) CAN talk. He just chooses not to. Maybe he will talk through the Eradicons in an episode... OH GOOD GOD THAT WOULD BE COOL! He would just pull over a few of them and force them to say what he wants to say! Your skepticism gave me an idea.
That is an awesome theory! I think it makes sense, I mean Soundwave seems to know everything. Laserbeak cant be everywhere & computer hacking can only go so far. Controlling the Vehicons (or see through them) would provide that little extra bit of surveillance. The Vehicons HAVE talked quite a bit in the series so far. I don't quite agree that they cant control their own actions, I simply think that Soundwave probably just SEES W they see.
Thats a hidden reason that I included the pictures! (By that I mean I forgot by the time that I finished writing the post)
