Okay, got a question that I've been unable to find the answer too. Google has failed me. The collectors took my crew, and I still have Legion and Tali's loyalty missions to do. I know that you can do Legion's without any crew members dying, but can I do both his and Tali's?

 

No, because I did the same thing. Collectors work fast and your crew don't have a lot of time to survive.

 

Yup, Chambers, Gabby and the others died.   Oh well, rather them than Tali or Legion.

 

You can save everyone, as long as you do everyones side mission before you get Legon. You only have enough time to save Legon to save what you can.

 

I finished my final playthrough today. FemShep made it through with no casualties and for better or for worse, I chose to spare the Collector base. Bring on number 3  

 

I saved the rachni queen but the council members died in ME, will this hurt or help me in the long run?

 

We'll only know when we get our hands on ME3, but I would guess that it might hurt humanity's political relations with the Council races. Added to that, you've unleashed an enemy so deadly that the mere word "Rachni" sends shudders amongst the Asari, Salarians and Turians and I'm guessing that humanity is going to be pretty damn lonely  

 

Finished a run through with my FemShep, and kept everyone alive but somehow failed to romance Kelly Chambers even though I ignored everyone. Anyway, I don't have time to run-through again while moving into new house so that'll do. ME3 awaits

As for my romance, I'm femshep and I've romanced l'ara TSoni. (The asari)

Ever since I bought the game for PS3 back in 2011, I had never been able to finish it up until November. Almost a whole year it took me to finish it! I've romanced Garrus, saved everyone, and destroyed the Collectors' base. Yays! Bring on ME3!

However, when I moved back to Port Lincoln, I had to start all over again (which I don't mind at all), updated myself with the background comic by saving the Council, released the Rachni Queen, didn't romance anyone, and saved Ashley. But I don't mind at all. Now that I know what to expect, I'm so going to do what I did before.  

 

Oh yeah, I romanced Liara in ME1 and continued in Lair of the Shadow Broker, but I read that Kelly's only affected by the ME2 options.

Liara's my headcanon for Shep's true love or something like that.

 

i wonder if the route ive gone with the romance options will cause any trouble in ME3

in 1 it was Ashley, 2 it got complicated. I kinda accidentally started leading Tali on, ended up doin it with Miranda and then kinda trying to call it off, and now in 3 Ashley's comin back

I did kind of lead Garrus on in 2 while trying to just finish everyone's conversation paths (hoping to fix Kelly), then called it off while in my cabin. How awkward a conversation that was.

I for the life of me couldn't romance garrus in ME, I did alenko though with my 2nd femshep. (Not as epic as liara)

 

I was with Liara in 1, then in 2 you kind of can't be nice to Tali without leading her on, but I ended up having evidently a 'friends with benefits' thing with Kelly, a serious thing with Miranda, and then started things up with Liara again after the Shadow Broker missions.

I'm such a ladies' man!  

Ashley actually died in my Mass Effect 1.
I kinda wish I had saved her now because in that new trailer for 3 she looks totally HAWT!

 

Alenko died in ME (The inital playthrough)...heh heh heh...

 

Garrus is so adorable awkward in his dialog. Kinda cute.

 

I think one of the reasons I like Garrus so much is that his romance skills are very similar to teenaged me, and I feel his pain  

 

Screw Ashley! She duped me in #2 and wanted nothing to do with me despite all we've been through. I respected Ashley but wouldn't really romance her so much, but there were not that many fish in the pond for ME1.
