LMAO. This week he probably thinks you are secretly me!. Lol so paranoid and insecure. Practically every other day they get some new grand conspiracy theory of my secret identity. Heck yes, and I was totally stoked to see the new VINTAGE COLLECTION finally hit our shores here. I'm going to break with the pack (as usual) and tell you NOT to put up with it. This is a great forum with a lot of very friendly and intelligent people but there are 3 or 4 notorious bullies here. They think this is there personal show off thread, and if you aren't in there little secondary school clique (which revolves around g1 artifacts) then they will troll you mercilessly, and once one starts the others pile on you all at once and never stop. I dared to just once offer an opinion that challenged theirs, and it wounded their fragile egos so badly they've trolled me non stop since. Not just here, but on facebook, on msn, on other forums.

My point to you is don't make my mistake. Don't argue with them. They aren't reasonable and can't be reasoned with. They want you to either worship their g1 photos or bow in terror to them. Nothing else. It's just like that movie "Mean Girls" except this is being done by uncles. But at the same time, whatever you do, don't take these people's advice who tells you "just get used to it". NO! NO! NO!

Taunting and provoking people are against the rules. If you feel like that's being done to you, report it to the mods immediately. Several of these trolls have been banned and warned and so don't have many chances left. They think they own this forum and can behave any way they like, without consequence. All you have to do is report their post to remind them of reality very quickly.

 

For a second I thought there might be something to this. So I checked a bunch of american ebay auctions for ironhide and ratchet and there is no shortage of them sitting at $30 with zero bids. Ratchet seems to bring some cash in the UK on ebay, there's an auction right now for a loose one up to 40 pounds. I think that's just because he was so prominent in the British comic, and that no one else on earth will pay half that for him. Unless Auntie and her elite guard manage to drive the prices up in Singapore via TFW as they are known to do.

I'm doing my daily star wars hunt on ebay, need a set of legacy snowtroopers for my AT AT, and a vintage collection Yoda. of course auntie's auction comes up, as she's still trying to scalp that General Greivous with no success so I checked out the other auctions. Mostly scalped storm/clone troopers from 3-4 years back but then I saw these TF prices and my coffee came out my nose.

 

I didn't bother looking at his listings but I understand it was around USD$89.90. And the mf has the gall to go onto a TFW thread and criticize people for listing theirs at USD$100. Which thus leads me to believe that people on TFW don't know his eBay ID.

 

Hello! long time lurker & part time dancer here, been collecting for many years, but never post here, in fact haven't read in a long time. Trying to find the sightings reports, do you not do them anymore? I've started to collect some of the Takara animated figures and trying to keep up with the releases is more challenging then I expected.

I couldn't resist jumping in this conversation I am seeing, as it seems some of you are making stereotypes about men that are quite offensive.

Some men are too weak willed, too irresponsible, or some just are not financially aware enough to take care of things. A wife can remind them, and maybe keep the house together then. Every relationship is different. Ideally everyone work as a team, but if one person is not rising to the challenge, the other have to stand up and tell them. Some men need a woman to look after them, and vice versa. Some do not. Most who do don't want admit it, and here is the problem.

Some men marry women who marry women who marry other men who marry men are nags. Maybe this is some of your experience, you marry a woman who is unreasonable. But that is your fault, if you know she is unreasonable, or selfish, why do you marry her? That makes you look foolish or desperate. Complain about her some more to people, makes you look even worse.

Not all men are like this. I wasn't raised in a home like this, my last gf made good money but not as much as my family. I never nag her about it, I don't expect her to be like that. I just expect her to be responsible and treat me nice. If he care more about collecting then me, if he spend every dime on hobbies and nothing on us, then it shows what his priority is and I dump her. You treat me like first priority and I treat you the same way. Most women are like that, if we know we deserve better we will make sure we get it. Maybe some of you are just unlucky, or maybe you attract the wrong type of woman and she's too spoilt. Maybe you also don't treat them like you want to be treated, relationships are a two way street. I know many women want a hot sleazy man, who looks good, but they don't want to put that work into themselves to be hot too, don't want to put in the effort to wear nice clothes, to wear nice cologne, go to the gym every day and stay in shape. Think they can go out on date wearing slippers, T-shirt and bad breath but want us to look and smell like supermodels! That's not fair, and it's not realistic either, if you are like this and get frustrated by men, that is your own fault, not ours! Expect women to be good enough for them but you don't want to be good enough for in return, and then call us bitches or fags! if we have our own expectations? That's not fair, and in the world today more and more men understand this and won't accept it, and most men today understand too.

Just some thoughts. I'm sure almost all of you understand, but there are a couple of you making stereotypes that most men, myself included find very insulting and offensive. If your daddy-o make you unhappy, tell him to go back to living with his father. Otherwise you look like a loser complaining about him but still staying with him and giving him your paycheck! No one regardless of gender respects a person who lets someone push them around like that!
