Yeeeeah, I rather suspect Vortex is not REALLY a Triple Changer, and that his helicopter form is just the "hover" mode you always automatically transform into, then when you pull the trigger for forward motion, he streamlines into a jet-shape.
"No Campaign Co-Op" has thus far kept me in the "maybe" camp as far as getting this. I LOVED playing the first one with pals.
Agree with that. I will not buy PS3 or Xbox only for one game. It looks like it will be possible to play with Bruticus.
Good article with a lot of hopeful notes on the game - but honestly, the only thing that I needed to know was Gregg Berger for Grimlock - can't wait to hear him in game.
This. I don't care about PC gaming, so it's not a fail at all to me, I don't care about co-op, as I don't like others dragging me down. So...in my view, this game will be greater than WFC, and that game wasn't even bad
I really hope there'll be 2-Player on the couch co-op like Uncharted 3. God, I was so disappointed in the online only thing WFC had going on.
I wonder if the game's story will explain the alt/robot mode changes. From the screenshot of FOC Optimus looking at WFC Megatron, it looks like there may be an explanation for Megatron's change. I wonder if they'll do the same for Prime (if they do an explanation for Megatron at all).
14. There's no campaign co-op Epic fail. Yes I read the explanation of why they did this but I can't believe that with the model of forcing you to select from three characters in any given level that they couldn't have figured out way of allowing multiplayer co-op. Funny thing is I read in another magazine that their official statement regarding why they killed co-op was because multiplayer co-op is a resource hog and they axed it in favor of vastly improved AI. I'm not pointing fingers or calling out blame but quite a change of tune here. At any rate unless there are some amazing pre-order bonuses or a special collector's edition this just dropped from a must-buy when it comes out to a watch for a good sale purchase for me.
Dear god will people stop crying about it not being on the damn PC! You pc only players are getting a MMO pc only game, and do you hear us console players crying about that? NO YOU DO NOT. So please, from the rest of us that have joined the 1980's and own home consoles, Stop crying, change your diapers, and SHUT THE HELL UP!
