The only similar situation she ever had was trying to reach Breakdown and KNockout's energon cube when outnumbered, but again she only did it because they were running out of that stuff to the point where Ratchet would be unable to fix anybody if they got hurt. And that is still less of a stressing situation than the Rescuing Orion thing.

 

I think it was meant to show how optimus is the glue of that team. I think they will learn how to keep it together now that optimus isn't there.

 

I think I can second the thoughts on the need for some new BG music, and even a new opening. But, other than that EP1 was fantastic.

 

I don't like how stupid the Autobots are being. So your boss is gone. STOP CRYING AND DO SOMETHING. Make a plan to get into their ship. Draw them out and follow their retreat, or try and figure out what other space bridge parts they might need and ambush them. How come Jack is the most logical here?

Getting revenge and Rushing headlong into danger are two separate problems.

She's only just dealt with the first one so far. You can't lump one lesson into *every* lesson.

 

there were a few shots of megatron that made me involuntarily say wow.i dont think they had any time to "step it up" or do any kind of overhaul with the seasons so back to back.it looks like all the other shows-they chug along and tweak it as they go.i see some kind of improvment each and every episode.

I never said there was. That's why I said they should make a plan.

I don't think the issue is she's regressed, rather that she apparently needs to be taught so many lessons. Why can't she just be smart enough to calmly evaluate the situation? It doesn't mean she can't be impulsive or emotionally-driven, just show that she, and the others, can function under grave circumstances.

 

I'm questioning why you think it's so easy to be rational under pressure. Generally that's when you're at your most impulsive.

You can't plan on this though. The Nemesis does not have a fixed location or regular flight path. They don't know when they'll find it again.

I already gave perfectly acceptable (in fact one was proven this ep) examples on how to infiltrate their ship. In fact, that's more logical than the other plans in this show

See, the writers want the characters to be in a certain place they aren't, but rather than have them realistically arrive at that destination they just go for the whole "without our leader we're directionless and pitiful!" trope.

Because God forbid we judge the show on an episode-by-episode basis, taking in the information as it is available to reconsider our standpoints and expectations.
