Thanks a lot for doing these!

Giant keeps getting better and better. I wish FOC Bruticus would do the same:(

Thanks for these. Gives a great sense as to the quality and look of these toys. I'll be waiting for green ones, but this makes me feel pretty good about how solid these guys will be.

Great job on the vid review! Much appreciated.

Do you own a MakeToy Battle Tanker? If so, which do you recomend getting first. These Giant twins, or Battle Tanker? I do plan on getting both eventually, especially think it's kinda cool that they are both G2, but I'm unsure of which to get first.

I don't I'm afraid. Not a huge fan of that G2 Prime mould. If it ever gets a mass release as Scourge then I probably will pick it up as I'm certain Maketoys would release a Battle Tanker set to match. As for Giant it depends if you want the G2 yellow set as I believe it's going to be a limited release before the green comes out in a few months, so if you want yellow, grab it now.

    Oops, should've multi quoted!

Thanks, and I think I wil probably be getting (ho ho ho) Green Giant as well. It goes against my no multiples rule, but they really are so good it would be a shame to only display him as Giant and not as the individual bots. Whether I review them or not, I dunno. I only did this one because no one else had done one, and it depends if there's any actual differences, for example if they fix the ball joint issue, or if there's new heads or something.

Got mine this morning - fully agree. A couple of minor issues don't really hold these two back. They'd be perfectly acceptable as 'just' transforming robots from vehicles. If the trade off for the add on arms (which do transform, so look nice sat alongside them) is that they look so good individually, it's one I'm willing to make. And now I'm in for the long haul (ohgodpun) and will probably pick up yellow and green versions. I always saw the combined modes as a 'bonus' in addition to the individuals, not the main attraction (I'm all alone in this, I'm certain) so for me, and my bizarre tastes, these figures are worth so much more to me than TFC Constructicons (whose individual modes never really did much for me). The fact that the combined mode looks lovely, and is going to have really solid joints and connections is a just a (massive) bonus. And I repainted Bonecrusher's eyes, just because. :D

Yep. I'm getting an iPhone tripod through the post in the next couple of days, so I'll be reshooting my review in better quality and as one vid instead of 4, then as soon as that's done he's getting red eyes. It's not so much that they're blue that bothers me (my favourite colour's blue) it's just that particular shade just don't look right!

    Bit too friendly looking. :D

Although, had all the yellow Constructicons had the same blue eyes, then I'd have been much happier with it. Constructibots have as much place as cons, and it'd have made a nice opposition to the greens. :D

Kuma Style (Video) Review: MakeToy Excavator and Bulldozer

Posted in wrong forum. Asking mods to delete.

First two bots of their anticipated "Giant" Devastator Gestalt. Longer review than normal, but it IS for both bots. Here ya' go!

This video IS HD, so it may take a little bit for it to process it to 720p, but it will be. Just wanted to post this asap.

You should only have one kibble port sticking out the back in botmode. The square/elbow port fits into the hollow recess of the body.it doesnt change the waist movement, but just FYI. Nice review.
