meh, whatever. I'll do what I do every year around movie release time, and watch short circuit 1 & 2 if I want to see robots in action. Also it has more credibility than any of bay's TF movies. oh yeah, & the robot IS the main character.

Honestly, no hate, but the last two movies were a$$. I give 2007 a pass because it was the first, but Bay had many mistakes to learn from and he proceeded to make two more films, each progressively worse.

For me, the way Shockwave was treated was inexcusable. Proceed with the masterbaytion fest, but I won't be spending money on seeing this film on general principal. To do so would encourage Hollywood to continue making product of this low quality.

The first 3 ended up challenging my fandom of TFs rather than the expected heightening of it.

You ever click on "Find More Posts" for some of the repeat movieverse haters? Movie complaining/hate is literally like 80% of what they post, month in, month out.

I don't like Beast Wars. Personally. I don't call it crap, I don't insult the intelligence of those who do. I just don't like it. If there were a Beast Wars sub-forum here, I just wouldn't go in there.

I'd let my fellow TF fans enjoy what they like.

My bet: Reboot.

It would be obnoxious to have Bay killing Megs in 1rst, then reviving him in 2nd and getting kill in 3rd to get revived in 4rth. That would be really annoying. The way he was criticize for making them guest stars in their own movie and not respect him, ways heavily against a 4rth film.

Makes more sense to look at the failures of the previous 3 and do a new idea all over again. But for once, JUST ONCE; let's star on Cybertron. To see how all started with the damn war and see the damn planet in present time, not in flash backs.

P.S.; the Godzilla Legendary pictures is said to come out in 2014. Is it me or the sound like Godzilla vs Transformers in the Box office lol

 

This re-imaging new take rebooty thing I reckon will be just taking everything BayFormers that's already been done, shaking it up in a sack and then tipping it out and making a movie of what the scattering results.
With Bay back at the helm I honestly don't believe TF4 will be that far removed from the previous three. And I really doubt he'll be able to resist putting crude humour and idiotic dislikeable human characters in again.
If we're lucky some TF may look a bit different, but probably not too far removed from the standard BayFormer design style.
