Soundwave was a gladiator from Kaon who almost bested Megatron in combat, an act that created mutual respect between the two. Soundwave saw in Megatron a desire to return to the swashbuckling spirit of the Golden Age of Cybertron, when Cybertronians emerged from the Well of All Sparks having to escape from the Underworld's monsters rather than being put into a caste. He was appointed Megatron's lieutenant with Shockwave.

 

I just hope he talks with a bad-ass G1 voice, and of course beat the crap out of someone...wheeljack?

 

Here's something to consider; when Wheeljack escaped his cell and went up top to fight the 'Cons, why did Starscream send in the drones? Considering Soundwave is reason number two for never betraying Megatron (Megs himself being number one), you'd think he'd have sicked Soundwave on Wheeljack and sat back to watch the show.

But on-topic, most people are voting Starscream as Soundwave's next victim, though Wheeljack and Orion are moving for second place. Thus, I whole-heartedly support Screamer swooping in all bad-ass like, only to end up on the recieving end of a Soundwave-Bitch-Slap. Booyah!

 

He should hide until secretly popping up in the G1 cartoon series while it is airing. Then, beat the scrap out of cyclonus and galvatron. Then all other autobots. That is until wheelie gets a hold of them and scraps 'em all.
 

 

Althoug I can see Arcee going at it against Soundwave for a while I don't think she's THAT reckless to go against a big name like Soundwave in a long battle. Espically if Optimus told her of what Soundwave can do in combat.

 

And how could that come along? Optimus is kinda missing his memory at the moment.



Something neat I thought of is a season 2 finale. Soundwave finds AB base, and trashes it, along with everyone inside. That'll mean Bee, Ratchet, Bulky, Arcey... all beaten to a pulp by the awesomeness of Soundwave and Laserbeak/Ratbat/Squaktalk/whatever they named it.

 

I mean before he lost his memorys. A good leader should ALWAYS inform to his team the most dangerous enimies out there so if they come face to face with one of them being Soundwave they will know what to do.

  However seeing what may happen to the base from one of the trailers we've seen something like that could happen.

 

Then Ratchet attempts to revive the fallen Autobts with a new kind of glowing green energon. .....

I can see friction between Soundwave and Orin Pax, both have been key disciples to Megatron. In fact maybe Soundwave will attempt to restore Prime's memory so Megatron will see him as an enemy again

 

Soundwave is pretty much Movie Optimus Prime, he'll get beat up and maybe even killed but that won't stop him getting back up and kicking ass.
