When the Transformers Prime line was announced, I planned only on purchasing Bulkhead. The First Edition toys, though, looked absolutely incredible, so much that they almost brought me out of retirement. Yet, after seeing Hasbro's official PRID images, I can safely say I'm still retired. I bought the Takara Tomy Bulkhead, and I'm good for the line.

Wow, does PRID look horrendous! Anyone else planning on buying these monstrosities?

WOW! Hasbro is really pissing me off. After PROMISING two Soundwave figures we are getting neither.

Toy Fair 2012 Update - No Que, Soundwave or Target Leadfoot Releases Planned

This is what we get with Hasbro's stupid policy of stringing out important figures to keep people interested while releasing crap repaints. How can you NOT release at least a deluxe version of Soundwave, Q, & Dino with the movieverse toys??? These types of decisions may put me into retirement as well. I was thinking about selling much of my collection anyway.

I will be honest, just like animated I have no interest in Transformers Prime. I think it has something to do with the fact that the vehicle/robot modes are not realistic at all and I could not get into the cartoon series. After what they did to Cliffjumper (he was one of my first G1 TF's) I had to bail. I think that is why I like classics, movie toys, and War For Cybertron. There is a sense of realism to them but I know others like the Prime figures so to each their own. Hasbro will not be seeing any money from me at least until War For Cybertron and maybe not even then. Does anyone else wish they would have done the cartoon series based on War For Cybertron and made them an entire toy line? Kindof an awesome G1 reboot instead of the lame Prime series.

OK, rant over. I have seen nothing new lately thanks to Hasbro and their horrible distribution.

I haven't followed the Dark of the Moon figures at all; I had already checked out before then. Has there been any chatter about Soundwave, Q, or Dino appearing in the Trilogy line?

To date, I've sold off a huge chunk of my collection. (I still have a dozen or so stragglers nobody seems too interested in.) I refuse to part with any of my Animated figures or my Japanese imports, though.

Honestly, Stark, I felt the same way you did about Prime. After trudging through the first half of the season, though, I started warming up to it. Towards the end, I was a fan. (Heck, I preordered the first season on Blu-Ray from Amazon as soon as it was available!) I don't know if I'd call it lameā€”but that's an adjective I'd certainly use for the toy line.

So there is a Transformers Prime Soundwave stashed at the West Valley TRU. I placed it above the Transformers section in that little cubby hole compartment thing that's concealed by the Transformers sign.

Wow. Logan hasn't got ANY Prime stuff... waves and waves of DOTM... :/

Whoever was looking for the "fancy" numbers wrecker should know Logan SMs has him on clearance.

Also that SW Quad-former is on clearance for around $16.

I finally found some Prime figures. I grabbed Prime Wheeljack at Orem Target, AF Walmart had two or three Prime Voyager Primes on the shelf, and I found a new box of the Voyagers on a pallet, so I was able to grab Prime and Megatron. No Soundwaves, sadly.

    Bulkhead

It's a bit funny. I feel horrible that I seem to be coming out of nowhere yet I almost daily view this board. I know you all and yet I never post. Oh well, I was hoping if anyone happens unpon a Prime Bulkhead they'll be so kind as to set one aside for me. He's the only one escaping me at the moment and the daily trips to all the Targets/Walmarts/TRU's in my area are starting to get very sad. I'm on first name basis with most of the toy's r us employees and I'm not sure how I feel about that.
