I really hope Hasbro can throw us a bone and sneak in a Cyberverse Que or Wheeljack in the Generations/Cyberverse line, similar to that Soundwave redeco and red Sideways/Mirage toy. As for the Deluxe and HA toys, I think that ship has set sail. Discount ladies clothing stores may or may not have them, just have to wait and see.

 

Expected it to come to this. It's sad, really. Two or three repaints could have easily been booted out for those toys, but so it goes.

I'm willing to be that the garbage HA wave 1 killed our chances at getting Soundwave. There have just been piles of ULTRA AWESOME STEALTH MODE Bumblebee and Skids sitting around for months. I can't imagine retailers would be too thrilled about getting more when their shelves are full of the first stock they bought. Heck, I only ever saw three HA Roadbusters in stores. I think it was a huge mistake on Hasbro's part to put Skids in instead of doing Roadbuster in the first wave.

 

Just like RTS Frumble, Bodyblock, and Downshift who were farther along than most of these. And the last of Animated.

There is one figure who contradicts this theory though. Human Alliance Jazz! His toy was made well after he was clearly dead and not coming back.

In this case, let's hope they bring out TF4 in a few years and then those figures might get a release including HA Soundwave if HA line continues. Even if they are a target exclusive like the movie 1 and 2 molds were this year then we will have a crack at them. I am NOT going to go find these on ebay for 30-40 dollars when they are actually fairly weak deluxe figures. Shame about HA soundwave though but I can live without him since I spent that much on a FE Takara bulkhead who is a great figure.

 

The Deluxe Brawl mode saw a redeco in the ROTF line, and he was decapitated in the first movie. Also, Human Alliance Jazz.

Hasbro has really blew it in my opinion. I won't be buying many TFs anymore with the movie line gone. Hasbro's TF line is just falling more and more each day. When will they learn?

If anything, the only thing that annoys me about this is that I'll never get to complete my Wreckers easily, especially since I really liked what I saw of Leadfoot when proto images emerged.

This year it's orange repaints of RoadBuster.

 

You know what you should do Hasbro, if the stores don't want these toys? Make them ONLINE EXCLUSIVES.
