I see what you're talking about, but as a huge Voltron Fan (see Sig, Avatar, location & s/n), it isn't something that screams Voltron to me. I have to think about it to get to a Lion. Most robots w/ humanoid legs are going to resemble Voltrons'. It's the nature of humanoid robots. It'd take something more than this to make me think of Swindle as Blue or Yellow Lion.
that looks so much better. add back-cannons, a more consistent chest shield and maybe hide the purple joint on left leg and it would be amazing.

So do people still think Blast Off is still mistransformed? I can't see any unused joints to make him look better as an arm...
Yeah, I don't see any joint to shorten Blast Off, but I'm hoping for SOMETHING we can't see. Oh, & I just read the interview, & it seems Blast Off's purple is supposed to be final.
that's hand painted, right? because a few of the foc figures with him look a bit gummed up with paint, and the colour scheme's not quiiiiiiite like the game. he's pretty much empty from the back, but i suppose you can stick his enormous weapon pack on and pad him up? EDIT: okay either this forum is filled with snipers or i take entirely too long to post.
Ok, Ill be crazy and call my shot. The colors we saw in GameInformer will be a GameStop 5Pack exclusive, bundled with the game for $100.

I have a theory that could be utterly wrong. The joints that I believe are Blast-off's hips have a rotator cuff between them and the knees. You can see it in his close-up picture in Keith's post--they're twisted at forty-five degree angles. What if you could rotate those hips straight up, or mostly up, then turn the legs around so the knees could bend back down? There seems to be a bit of a pocket below the knee joint on that one leg facing the camera. Like, it's designed to fold neatly around the upper leg. What if that's the transformation? Or a fan-mode? It all depends on what clearance there is on Blast-off's legs.
I've noticed the possibility that Blast Off's lower legs can possibly colapse up towards the knee, but that won't shorten them enough on its own to look right. I'm trying to see how what forms Blast Off's back could possibly colapse some, though I'm not seeing anything in that area. On the otherhand, it's possible Vortex could shift the waist up into the chopper body, shortening it up some.
im am satisfied in general with these pics. the whole thing is good enough for sure. not worried about onslaught anymore at all. any problem with it thus far is quite acceptable.
We'd all be fools not to jump at that deal if such a deal were true. Like the Bruticus or not, that is one heal of a deal right there: five triple changers AND a PS3/XBOX 360 game! SOLD!!!
