Well, fuck. That statue looks amazing. I'm just a little concerned about the quality of the actual game itself, given the mediocre nature of AvP. I ended up getting the Special Edition of that one and being pretty disappointed.
Gearbox is a great company, they just got a lot of backlash after Duke nukem forever. (Which should've been put down like a sick dog)
Eh, I don't know. I watched some of the earlier demos of this game, and I got a lot of AvP vibes from it. I was kinda hoping for a highly tactical cooperative experience, and it ended up looking more like a run n' gun game. Maybe I'm wrong, I'll just have to wait to see more videos.
i hope to hell this has some intense co-op-ness. this is the first fps game i've even been mildly interested in for a long time!
All I can think of when looking at this game is letting slip that it was in development during a Sonic Racing multiplayer session we were having. Basically the people I was playing with worked on the Sonic racing game (Sumo?) and I assumed that also meant they worked for Sega, who a friend of mine does work for and told me about this. Whups. Never tell me a secret.

Of course! Don't you remember the badass kick from the Aliens movie... I mean the -other- badass chick, not Ripley. She even carried a smart gun around, Wayland Yutani owned space marines seem to take anyone and equip them with some hardcore gear!
