You know after having this Voyager Prime for a bit I realize he's not that bad. But these weapons that he comes with are complete rubbish. IF he had more show accurate weapons he'd be great. I like how he doesn't have the false windows that the first editions had. The feet don't have that long back to them as well.
Agreed. Apart from the minor cape/backpack and lack of waist articulation, I really like the figure. Looks even better with the minor paint changes I made. New? As in Wheeljack and Soundwave?
Don't worry, you just know within the next few months some 3rd party is going to release weapons that are show accurate for him (possibly even remolded ones from the FE version).
Toys R Us at San Pedro had the new Bot shot guys. They have one of each fig left. Pretty neat looking little guys.

Not sure if it's been said -- just like it keeps getting asked -- but these toys have a street date of 2/26. So some targets may not get them for you. The Arboretum target would not sell them to me... Pretty lame or really good excuse. :|
Ugh. No, no, NO, NO. They do NOT. Set dates do not equal street dates. There was never a street date for these, despite what ignorant Target employees may be telling people. It's 49.
I think I know what you mean then. He started explaining to me about a refresh on the shelves and that is when the toys would go out or something... Well, not sure how to bypass their authority or tell them they're wrong at their job so... 2/26 it is!
Ugh I know you are so right about this. I hate this idea of it being about a stupid street date release. Its like I've been saying on this other thread if the item is in the back and the employee and locate it then they should be able to sell it to the customer. I think its just an excuse for the employees to not have to go in the back and search for it. I mean to me we play pretty damn good money to buy these Transformers.
The case doesn't say anything about a street date. Like agent Adam said, there's no street date. Just an internal shelf reset date Target would like to save these for.

Ah ok. Just making sure. I figured it was that wave that you saw. Especially since there hasn't been any front page news on Soundwave and Wheeljack. Although that wave seems to be lagging a bit, not surprised that they were new to you.
Imo he has baby hands nd his lower legs are alrite. I see a couple of things hasbro could of done differently but like you I applied some paint to him so hes startin to grow on me
Completely agree. My son loves the weapon but I think it sucks that it won't stay open. The figure is better than I was expecting, I don't even mind the backpack flaps. The only thing I hated about the figure was the unpainted wheels, I had to touch those up right away.
