For me it's a pass... however I'll wait till it hits stores to see if any of my nephews want it.

I find it funny that the Magazine accidentally swapped Cybervirse and Powerizer Optimus's Pictures.

This explains why Hasbro announced they were banning all KOs and 3rd party toys from Botcon. If someone but this guy next to Hercules, Hasbro might get laughed out of the building!

people seem to forget that with Kre-O, you could at least rearrange all the parts or even swap in different ones to make this thing look halfway decent.

I wonder if Hasbro ever thought of approaching this with various sized Constructicon sets with their own Kreons and pieces of the construction site and turn them into a "build-a-figure." Basically buy all these sets and combine them into one big Devastator and a construction yard playset with a bunch of kreons.

Not only would it have given consumers the choice to buy some or all of the Constructicon sets (gotta have them all!), but it would also fill out the 2012 Kre-O lineup nicely.

If anything, the big 2012 set should have been Grimlock to tie in with FOC. Kids love them some dinosaurs, especially if they turn into warrior robots.

Should have expected this seeing as how most of the other kre-o set vehicle modes are movie based.... but deep down was hoping for some green and purple G1ness. Love the idea of six kre-o sets for the constructions, vehicles based on movie and the 6 G1 kreons. There looks to be some interesting building blocks and pieces which peak my interest for other builds. So more than likely I will pick up 2 or 3 sets, when on sale :)

Damn, that's shitty... It's funny that the best Devastator toy we've ever gotten was the legends combiner that was Japan-exclusive (that I own!) a while back.

Agreed. I'm optimistic for this guy. I can see where they're going with him (a G1/Movie hybrid sorta thing), and I like it. I know I certainly wouldn't mind seeing Devastator using a design similar to this one should he appear in Prime.

Eh, even if he turns out pretty crap, he's still going to be a source for cheap, high quality bricks.

That looks like something my 4 year old would hand me and say "look Daddy I made a tiger!" Jumbled mess.

I'd be more bothered by what appears to be only one Contructicon-colored Kreon in that photo.

I think it's a Devastator Kreon, not one of the Constructicons.

This thing could turn out to be very different once it's all said and done. The Kreons don't even have face or torso details yet.
