Looks alright. From what I see, it could have been done better. I want to see the vehicle mode before I jump to anything. I'll probably buy it though, seeing as I cannot get enough of Knock-Out!

Im sorry i see no resemblence to the show... I saw the title and was like this is gonna be sweet but.no. absolutley no

 

1. Hasbro hasn't gotten that bad, not counting Voyager RID Prime vs. FE Prime.
2. It looks great, if you can imagine what it'll look like when you move things around a bit.
3. I have RID Cliff right next to me, and he doesn't look bad in any way, save the slightly bad arms.

 

You must have not seen the in-hand pics of RID Bumblebee.

 

Or RID Cliffjumper. He looked decent in the photoshopped advert pic and the hand painted sample, but the finished version looks like crap.

 

I just realized that the arch near his armpit area is DEFINITELY photoshopped. There's definitely more kibble back there. They probably cut off the back tires.

I don't get what everybody has against Cliff.
He looks better than the pics in person, save the strange arms. The chest is incredibly accurate, good head, great legs, mediocre arms. All his vehicle mode chest-parts are well-hidden in robot form, too.
FE Cliff is all square and boxy, the arms bend in all weird, the legs are blocky and long, and strange, with weird feet. Plus the horns end up on his butt...

I think RID Cliffjumper is a lot better than FE.

 

A agree. His arms aren't as good, but I like the look of the RID figure over the FE. The body looks tons better. I don't care that it cheats.

 

Looks good to me, but I'd like to see in-hand pictures before jumping to the THIS IS AWESOME reaction I've had to much of the Prime stuff.

 

i agree with everything except two of your points against the first edition cliffjumper.

first editions arms are much better. his wrists rotate.. so his elbows can bend normal. and the forearms are far more accurate than the RiD versions.

and the horns ending up on his butt.. really? what, are we all 5 years old ? (don't answer that lol)

but yeah. everything on the RiD cliffjumper is more accurate and better looking.. everything except the forearms. .. i just wish they weren't so bad.

oh well though. i'm going to get it. and i'll probably like it.

 

An easy mod makes him look leagues better.

 

I'm still gonna take a chance on him in hand. Neither the proto or official pic has his chest exactly where it's supposed to be. I wanna take a shot to see if I can transform it so it looks better. Even if I can't, I'd still rather have him than Powerizer OP.

 

I was someone hating on the RID Cliff Deluxe when I first saw it, but honestly after seeing a couple video reviews I think he looks ok.

The FE one still does some stuff I like better, but if I can't get that mold, the RID version isn't a horible second choice.

 

After watching Peague's video review real quick, I think I hate the RiD CJ a lot less now. But I still prefer the FE for various small reasons such as the show accurate transforming guns, scaling a bit better, not cheating, and blue tinted windows hiding the robot bits. I also dislike the boxy legs less compared to the weird arms.

 

Agreed the rid cj has grown on me

This is the same guy that bitched because DOTM voyager prime was a toy aimed at kids, and yelled at anyone who was okay with it.
