This set just isn't worth it to me.

As far as the content goes, you don't get any bonus features that aren't on the individual blu-ray releases. I have the first two with the special features so I'm set. Don't have any interest in DOTM's bonus features.

The packaging isn't easy to store with other dvds - and it isn't cool enough to display it on its own. It's rather boring in design. If they had done a limited run of different character styles or something, it would be worth it.

The only thing you're getting in the set are the cells and the Bay autograph, neither of which appeal to me.

I'm usually a sucker for these kinds of multi-disc collectors sets, but that bulky & impractical box design is a deal breaker.

Since I already have the bonus feature combo packs for the 1st and 2nd ones, I'm just gonna get the DOTM 3D combo pack. It has the bonus features which is what I really want. So I'll basically I'll have the same thing just without the box and the autograph which is fine by me

I'm kinda pissed that DOTM special features are only on the Blu-ray and not the DVD. I've been resisting Blu-ray for quite some time. Is it time?

Past time. Now that you can get a blu-ray player for under $100 and most movies are in the $20-$30 range, the reasons to resist are evaporating.

I resisted a long time, myself. I didn't want one and didn't think I needed one. I finally caved last year because there were too many PS3 games I wanted to play, and once I found a good deal on an HDTV, I went for it. I guess I'm glad I waited, because it allowed the prices to come down a LOT. But after watching a movie on Blu-Ray on HDTV, I'm glad I didn't wait one day longer than I did.
