Man, these bots are ugly, but seeing as it will be combined for me it's not so bad. The quality of the G2 trailer makes me super excited for these as well.

 

man the bot mode so far have been really disappointing. I was really looking forward to ordering this set regardless of the G2 colors, but now I think I'm going to wait to see what the reviews are going to be on these pieces. I'm glad I decided to buy Herc.

 

I plan to remove the connection crap the second I get them out of the package, and paint any red eyes/visors blue (so when I affix Autobot symbols, they'll have the "good guy color"). Maybe paint the purple black, if I can avoid rub areas.

And, since they apparently don't have names, I plan to call them by TFC's names, since those guys will be my "Team Devastator." Green voyager Decepticon Bonecrusher, meet yellow deluxe Autobot Neckbreaker. Boosh.

 

That's kinda cool, actually.

 

The more pics I see of these the happier I am that I went with Hercules. Initially I thought perhaps I'd buy both sets, but with BBTS seemingly not carrying these and the 'getting of them' more difficult than with Herc... I have just that more reason to pass.

Those joints look crazy awesome for combined mode posing. Make sure you mess around with how they store in robot mode TJ since they've been all over the place in pictures so far. I will admit though I find it a bit boring that they just kinda attach in vehicle mode. I really like Herc's way of integrating the treads as the forearms.

 

I'm gonna beat you to it, if at all possible.

 

These guys might actually have my attention.

From that site, looks like the first 2 bots are $153 shipped from Japan. Not sure if that's EMS or just regular shipping.

actually, im pretty happy that someone took the
photo of the joint awkwardly overextended so i can
see how they've got it set up in there. the way it
looks, giant may be able to extend his arms out
sideways because you can also reposition the
bulldozer/excavator, as its on his own separate hinge.
i think this is bloody brilliant. lotta rocks gettin kicked
at MT, do i need to remind us what the end product is?

 

I'm pretty sure that's with EMS. I haven't looked in a while but, I think Upgradecommander.com said they ship internationally with EMS only.
