Eh? Hasn't it been confirmed that the head sculpt is new and a bit bigger than the original MP? Certainly looks bigger and different (with a new face sculpt and smirky expression) to me, seeing how wider MP-11's head is compared to the thin one on the original.

 

The head is different, I think Stepper is saying because it's based on the same character that people should have an idea of what it looks like.

I personally would like a better look.

Not sure if anybody else has noticed this, but in the picture of the three blacked-out TF toys, the one on the right....is the Deluxe Ratchet that's on the way. Not sure why, but I had originally thought it was Knock Out, and just ignored it. Gave it a closer look and realized that it didn't have the center head spike thing he has.

 

I hate the Classics Rod mold with a passion, but Takara just made it look GOOD.

The only difference I see is the guns on the sides of the turret are red instead of gray

 

Logically,how different can Starscream's head mold be,more or less not much difference even if it is of new face sculpt

 

It IS compatible! There's an adapter in the sets that can go on a 5mm peg and turn it into a 3mm clip point.  

 

True, we all do have an idea what he should look like, but that doesn't help in figuring of what the new MP-11 toy actually does look like. As I said, some of us would appreciate some close up shots of the new head sculpt since it's supposedly one of its main selling points if Takara expects us to upgrade to this new MP from the old one. In some angles the new face looks good and accurate to Screamer's toon depiction (open boob missiles photo), but in others his facial expression just looks weird, like he's making a =3 "nyron?" cat face, lol.

Seeing how hilariously horribad some of the previous MP Seeker facial expressions were (Skywarp's angry constipated/just-jizzed-ma-pants face and Thundercracker's nightmare fuel open mouth scream face), I'd say there is a wide margin for error here, lol. Luckily, the previous efforts were optional faces and you could always stick to the default neutral frown face. Not sure if this new MP-11 figure has that face swap gimmick or not, hence why close-up promo shots of the new head sculpt would have been appreciated, is all I'm sayin'.

 

FOC had combiners, so hoping that they will be revealed soon!

 

I don't believe so as I think they would have advertised it. It'll probably give us a better looking normal face and head proportions as a result of losing that feature.

He's probably more red and less brown than Hasbro's too. Though the differences you mention change from picture to picture.
