BigBadToyStore got some info, it seems that BTS only made 1000 of these and the last bunch left the factory today, so whatever get sold from TFsource, BBTS, ect will be the last of it.

 

For the price, I might check them out but I still say they could've been a LOT better than this.

 

No backpack guns? And they were going for a G1 look? Argh

 

That's what kills it for me. Plus backpack guns would help flesh out the upper torso and divert attention away from the hips. Is there at least connector points on the back to add a substitute for them?

 

Gotta admit, I like the box they come in more than Frenzy and rumble themselves.

 

Got them today. They are cheap crap. Two of the pile drivers don't even work, one of them is permanently glued shut, and the final insult is that they don't even fit into my Sonicron.

 

Based mainly on this review, I picked these up this week, and I like them.

They are a little goofy looking, mainly in the hips, and I do wish the pile drivers attached more securely, and the above comments about the backpack guns are a good point. But, I'm happy with them. They're decent enough for what they are, and met my expectations, as set by the review, so I'm happy. I have the Yin/Yang set, and I'd totally buy another repaint of them, too.

 

The piledrivers do attach very securely. Look very closely at the one pic in the instructions. It's really hard to see, but they show the hand gripping the outside of the piledriver. The hand is then at a 90 degree angle with the back of the hand viewable from the front of the piledriver.

That's how I've been doing it, but I haven't tried actually clipping the hand on the piledriver, at first glance it didn't look like it would fit, so I've just got it more resting against the hand.
