JustiToys. Sure the repeated delays are a real pain in the ass but their WST's are great little figures. Their eHobby Astrotrain arrived from RobotKingdom the other day & just like all their prior WSTs - I luv 'em to bits! :thumb  Can't wait for that Sixshot (just a few more weeks to go) & about that forearm - I haven't got a bloody clue...

That forearm might belong to a WST Perceptor. It has a similar hinge joint and that circle might be the where the know attaches. That Sixshot looks pretty cool.

Between Hercules and Giant, would anyone even be interested in yet another 3rd party Devasator?

That would have to be one seriously epic Devastator to get any purchases.

The arm has a double joint at the elbow, which is rare amongst G1 Transformers (assuming JIT is replicating the original joints in designs). One of the few toys which does have that at the elbow is Wheeljack, as part of his transformation. However, Wheeljack's outer forearm panels form the trunk of his car mode, and I'm not sure that the designs in the image really lend themselves to doing that.

With fingers like that I really doubt the arm belongs to a WST G1 toy

I think the arm comes with Sixshot. He has a gun mode, after all, and would then be the right scale to work with larger toys. Didn't they include a Bruticus fist with Shockwave?

Okay, well who would make sense for Sixshot to be held by? Cyclonus held him in the commercial, but aside from that? I'm not really up on my Japanese cartoons. Who held him in Headmasters?

Just thinking about the tailfins on Sixshot in robot mode: when they're sticking out to the sides, like in the official transformation, they interfere with the arm articulation. When they're closed up, like in the photo in the original post upthread, they're asymmetric.

Perhaps a slight remold might help solve the problem? If the tailfins hinged 180 degrees in the middle, for example, they could each have the wingtip fold down alongside the rest of the fin, and then have the effectively-half-as-tall fins fold down onto the chest for a more symmetric look. The wingtips could fold outwards, for a Astrotrain-style chest, or inwards, for a sort of Overlord-with-folded-in-chest-wings look.

I'd prefer inwards, if only because the wingtips could then be pointed vertically when Sixshot was in jet mode, making it look just that tiny bit cooler. Although if it was outwards, then the wingtips could also be pointed vertically with the chest fins folded in for gun mode, giving him a "sight".

That how it was on the original toy. It's meant to look that way. I see no reason to change it now, especially since I usually display him with the fins folded in anyway.
