Hey all, I have gotten some questions on the BB mod. Here are some more pics to show what I did. Very EZ. Just a little greenstuff in the original ball joint hole to make it smaller and once dry, done. It does not effect alt-mode at all and no other modding is required. Hope this helps. P.S. sorry about the quality of the pic, all I have is my crappy Iphone 3g camera. Hey all, I just got TF Prime BB the other day and noticed how much his shape looks like the current comicbook appearance. Soo, I decided to take the extra BB classics head I had and pop it on. A little greenstuff and some drytime and here you go. He still needs more work to be more accurate, but for now it works.
Yeah,I thought of this as soon as Prime Bumblee's look was announced, glas to see I wasn't the only one.
Thats a really good idea. I did the same thing with a movie bee and a WFC bee head, but I think this looks alot better.
That has actually made it more appealing to me, guess I like G1 Bumblebee's head more than the movie/ inspired by movie versions
This is a nice idea indeed! But I was wondering if it could work for the RTS Jazz figure too since it almost has similer aspects to both the Movie and Prime bees.
Hey... not bad at all! Neat idea. It works as IDW Bumblebee... though I'm still not crazy about the idea of IDW Bumblebee. But this is cool. zmog
I'm sure with some green stuff and file anything is possible. Green stuff is a product by GamesWorkshop, it is a 2 part putty that when mixed turns green and is a good medium to fill holes and gaps or even sculpting parts. Although, I'd say epoxy sculpt is much better for sculpting parts.
Nice very creative... im also trying the same thing with CJ. but im carving out the face. gonna slap the wfc one on the tfp one.
Cliffjumper? His bot mode is nowhere close to IDW Bumblebee, though I guess his muscle car alt-mode would fit with the mode they gave him back in his miniseries (and that was never seen again, if I recall correctly). Has he even transformed once since then? Of course, now IDW BB looks like a hobbit... at least with Nick Roche drawing him. zmog
