Went into a collectibles store the other day and took a chance, bought the giant, hardcover All Hail Megatron. I've never really been a comic book collector, so I wasn't sure if I'd like it, but I figured I'd give it a whirl-worst case scenario, I sell it on the internet or something. Well it turns out, I love comic books! I came on here, looking for a comic section, and was surprised to find that I couldn't find one. With MTMTE and RID coming out soon, I figured I'd bring it up:

Why is there no comic section? Or have I just not found it yet?

Yes, well, why WOULD you? The notion that on-topic Transformers comic discussion has to be shunted off into the off-topic area at the very bottom of the board index instead of being allowed to take place in the general forum is, without wanting to put too fine a point on it, fucking stupid.

IIRC, one of the mods claimed once that the TF comic threads get more traffic in the off-topic section than they ever did in the Transformers section, and that's why comic discussion was moved there.

 

Makes sense, especially since I'd image most of the discussion that'd be in here would end up breaking away from the comics anyway, while it would stay truer down south of the Junkion Exchange.
