Nothing going to happen this year prob with TF4 what are people going to do this year and talk on here about repeated questions about DOTM..

Its good when its in production cause people talk about sightings and stuff filmed on set ect but the build up or break from whoever does it there isn't really a film i want to see in the process even the likes of Battleships ect..

So how is all going to pass the time while we all waits for news...

 

I'm still wondering how the movie forum is still open.

 

I'll be watching NON MOVIE Transformers.

 

I love the movie trilogy, but as that dies down for a bit, things should get even more interesting on the toy front. New movie, no new movie, it's win/win.

 

The new season of TF Prime is starting soon, u can get your fix there  

 

well im just gonna be collecting toys i dont have and playing video games.... but i have to say that i will be bored out of my mind until the next movie comes out.

There is no G1 forum. There is a general discussion forum, which is used to discuss old shows and anything TF related that isn't toys, Prime, or Movie.

 

By Unicron's beard this actually a good thing.

Without the movie dominating everything Transformers it gives the brand a chance to try new things without having to worry about getting put on hold for a movie. So Rescue Robots can be aimed at little kids. Transformers Prime will have some time to be the flagship of the brand. Perhaps Generations can get some more releases. We've got a new video game in the War for Cybertron series. An MMO that is going to try to get off the ground.

Plus a little break give the production team some time to percolate some ideas without the pressure of oh crap we've got to crank out another movie. Sometimes a little rest is far better for creativity than constantly putting out a project.

 

Yeh, Prime Season 2, which after the Season 1 ending, has a lot of potential.
And Fall of Cybertron later this year.

 

The movies haven't stopped Transformers from exploring other avenues before. We had TF Animated and TF Classic/Universe going on before the same time as the movies, for example...

Personally, I'll be using the time to catch up on customizing movie toys!

Exactly! I finished watching all the old school TF cartoons, now I'm onto Prime.

 

While it doesn't totally stop things from Hasbro's end retailers tend to go crazy for movie related things while kind of ignoring the other great products that Hasbro puts out. Thus Classics gets put on hold and Transformers Prime toys get pushed back enough to mostly miss the holidays 2011.

But a break might also be a good chance for Hasbro to work in those movie figures people are missing from their collection, so perhaps a break can be good for everyone.

i'll be just collecting toys and working on my tf projects, while hoping TF4 never gets made and we get a reboot instead

There's still a ton going on in the franchise, as one incarnation fades, another rises to take its place. And one day, a show will come and light our darkest hour, ushering in a new golden age of TF fiction...

 

...that peope will find fault with.

And those who will not like it will be mis-labeled as 'fanboys' by the fanboys. And the flame wars will begin. People will be true fans if they do or don't like it. Jpegs of "haters are gonna hate" will be posted by haters in denial.

There will be weeping and the gnashing of teeth, human sacrifices, dogs and cats living together- mass hysteria!

Lather, rinse and repeat.

And Ops will be a truck. and BB will look exactly like his counterparts because he has 4 wheels and is yellow.

 

I'm glad. Finally for the first time ever since 2007 we have nothing Bayformers. I'm just sick and tired of anything Bayformers, I'm excited for Prime, Rescue Bots and Fall of Cybertron. The sooner Bayformers is behind us the sooner a reboot will happen, one that's doesn't screw up.

 

but to be fair guys we still have bayformers still year, the movie trilogy line!
