My third 'large' Bumblebee custom, however this one is quite different than my past two. This one was painted with an entirely different selection of colors for the robotics and I added different kind of detail apps on top of the wear washes and filth.

I sprayed his yellow parts with a pearl gloss and then glossed that as well. It's hard to see in the pics but in person he has a very nice surface...especially in certain light angles. The wear and washes were done atop that gloss coat. I then continued the black racing stripes down the rear-top of the car because they weren't there on the figure. I also gave Bee a ball-jointed neck and wrist.

Is this the Deluxe? IT LOOKS AMAZING!

Methinks, however, that the effort put into getting a pretty yellow base doesn't show through all the battle damage.

Looks pretty danged good. The truly amazing thing now would be if the alt mode, when you transformed it, was pristine with no battle damage. Heh heh!

Thanks guys. I went ahead and gave him the pearl gloss because it looks so much better over the factory plastic. Plus in the movie Bee started out really glossy and still is, in areas where he has minimal to zero damage.

Man you did a killer job on this figure SonOfNemesis.
This is one of the few figures I would be proud to own and have in my collection.
